I’ll probably buy it, see how far of vanilla story I can get through, but probably not keep it as a ‘hobby’ game like I do with Destiny 2. I really hope there’s more story beyond the demo, because what there is a tickle to interest me, but not a gripping hook.
Ironically I find the ‘upscaled ME MP’ thing more of a draw than the story. The snippet we got was fine, and the voice acting was good, but the world didn’t excite me. No non-humans, a sort of generic quasi medieval hub, ambiguous tech... eh. The armor is the only standout aspect there.
I did not help that when I attempted to finish the manifold quest, the final cutscene failed to fire twice in a row, forcing me to skip it in order to complete it... and missing the actual story part. Big sigh.
As it stands, I think I’d play, but boy howdy do they need to get the technical problems under control. Multiple game-ending mission bugs, crashes to desktop, bizarrely absent sound FX, confusing UI.
My final feeling is there’s potential there. Upscaled ME MP could be a lot of fun. The flying is fun. It could be a good hobby game like ME3 MP was. That said, it needs some refinement and fixes.

Hello! Love how you're recording those rare NPC chatter lines in Destiny 1 & 2!! I think I found another radio post you can listen to in the Tower Hangar, in the back towards where you can see people's ships float. I've overheard a couple lines from Ikora & Zavala from this radio, compared to Cayde's radio by the ramen shop. The Zavala line I caught by chance, and didn't hear the whole thing to figure out the context. The Ikora one was her musing about how the rookies find her intimidating.

So I bought KotOR for Carth after hearing that Sbarge voiced him. I played it, didn’t get the guy, because romances were very much “you must be this kinda person to ride the sad dad.” Meh, it was enjoyable either way, and it helped me grok some of the stuff going on with TOR when that released.
Plus, I’m a sucker for Star Wars stuff. So it was a good game :D
I haven’t played KotOR2 though, I think I own it on Steam somewhere, BUT I SHALL FIRE IT UP…. EVENTUALLY.
I think I hadn’t because I was still pouting over the Carth thing and also finding out that Dude Revan was canon. Yeah, that burned my biscuits some.
