For Goneril: 1, 11, 20, 26, and 42

1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?

Goneril has a younger sister, Regan, and an even younger half-sister called Cordelia. Goneril is definitely closer to Regan, hands down.

11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

When she was young and still a slave, her father was trying to defend their Sith master’s base from storming Republic soldiers who decided to do things their own way. Her father was killed right before her eyes and seeing her, the Republic decided to have some “fun” with and during such pain and violation, Goneril’s Force powers awakened. She has never felt that frightened and horribly vulnerable after that moment. 

20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

Goneril compares her strength and power base to others to see if she’s on top or needs to consolidate more political power and allies to keep herself alive amongst the Sith. She doesn’t do for self-validation or self-criticism, she does it to survive and remain at the top. 

26. How does your character behave around children?

She’s either awkward around them or kind of ignores them. If they’re children of people she knows or friends with or her own kids, then she’ll pay them more attention and interact with them if they ask her something.

42. Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them?

Her Sith master who technically owned her but didn’t want slaves and yet had to accept them as “gifts” from other Siths. So he allowed his slaves a little bit more freedom and opportunity. Once it was revolved she was Force Sensitive, he took Goneril under his wing to give her some basic training and advice before he was forced by the Sith Council to send her to Korriban for proper Sith training.

I recently found VtM: Nighroad and made a Gangrel in there cause uhm.. dog?? Which makes two vampires cause when I first saw Charlie and Delilah I had to see where these pretty ladies came from. (I'm now in deep) and I made a Tremere. Anyway, sorry am rambling, but how do Charlie/Delilah feel about the LA Prince? Or any like... Camarilla for that matter?

And, uh, whew. Charlie does not like being condescended to, so her take on Sebastian Lacroix wasn’t... you know, super charitable. She did work retail, though, so she’d already had the “customer service switch” well in place, and used it in any case she needed to deal with him.

Once he betrayed her, though, all bets were off.

(That’s the ripped off wing of The Sheriff that Claudia’s got there, btw... they, uh, had a little too much fun on that climb up the tower, lmao)

Charlie doesn’t have any real beef with the Camarilla per se, especially after Maximillian Strauss contacted her through Claudia to let both of them know that none of Sebastian’s actions were exactly sanctioned... so after a few years spent back up in NorCal at Claudia’s place, they came back and Charlie established herself as the Baron of Beverly Hills and Van Nuys.

As for Delilah, she never even met Sebastian. Nines in particular didn’t want to chance him catching wind of an illegally Embraced Malkavian, of all things, and Charlie’s “induction” into Kindred society a few months afterward only proved him right. So... the Anarchs were not about to let any Cammies get anywhere near her.

Which, given her later learning of Grout’s role within the Camarilla, suits her just fine!

(Nines’ appearance is based on Luis Carazo’s depiction of him in LA By Night rather than the Bloodlines version, because.... phwoar)

20. How did you get into D&D? How long have you been playing?

i’d just started dating ferry and she was in a couple regular games, got me into watching critical role, expounding on how much she thought i’d enjoy it…

my first dnd game was on my birthday in 2016. i’ve been in ultra super rpg hell ever since, lmao

whats your favorite season and why?

I really like spring - when it starts to be not too cold anymore and still not too warm. When you can wear a light jacket and the flowers start to bloom. :D

But then I also enjoy the early autumn, when the leaves start to color and it’s not too cold yet but also not the summer heat anymore. 

Practically... i like seasons with mild weather that is not too warm and not too cold XD
