((Hello everyone! I'm so sorry for my lack of replies to both threads and asks lately, my finals are next week and I just want to make sure I do studyguides and all that wonderfully boring stuff. But after next week you should see a spike in my activity because it's summerrr vacation! :D "Drafts will wane, I'll jump on the 'reply to things' train. ✫: Why you began RPing.

A question I've never actually been asked before, so this is interesting. Might take a while to remember.

I think it started when my friends introduced me to the website Omegle. It was fun talking to strangers for a while, but then I noticed that you can put in interests and find people with the same interests as you. From then on, as my main fandom was the Hunger Games trilogy, I tagged my omegle with things like "THG", "The Hunger Games", etc. 

What I didn't know was that people did this to roleplay. Many times, I came across a person who was writing as if they were a character -- and not in the same sense as fanfiction. I normally disconnected and went to find someone else.

However, one day, I didn't disconnect. And it changed my life. 

I went from roleplaying on Omegle to Chatzy, and upon meeting my first ever "internet friends" on Chatzy, was introduced to Tumblr. And here I am now... 7 RP blogs later (3 of which are still active), and glad that I put "The Hunger Games" in my Omegle tags.
