I am getting ready to move my 30 gallon tank upstairs, which is going to take a lot of effort and planning (need to make sure I have time in the day, take everything out, take the water out, keep the filters in water, keep part of the water, all the stuff).

So I set up a smaller sized tank upstairs in my apartment and moved the rasboras and Beau upstairs. Poor Beau, those tumors must be horrible. I used the gentlest net I have to move him and still the tumor areas got roughed up. There's a good amount of indian almond leaves in their, and I'll be keeping an eye on the parameters so hopefully he feels better soon.

Once the 30g is up and running up here the rasboras will move back there along with the loaches and shrimp (I left the loaches and shrimp downstairs for now, although I'll probably move the amano shrimp up to this tank shortly before the move. The loaches and Xylem the bamboo shrimp will be moved when the tank moves).

Anyways, here u go! These are some older pictures because I keep procrastinating and I am lazy :) (sorry they're kind of ass lol)

It looks a LIIIIIITTLE bit different rn, it has a lot of duckweed at the top rn.... but I'll rb this with some newer photos tomorrow after class :D

Anyways, inside my little ecosystem I have five Phoenix rasbora, ten ember tetras, one khuli loach named spaghetto, (I had two and the other one was named stiletto, but he had some disease where he just flipped around and died), a little catfish but I forgot the name of the species it was because it was kind of long... oops. But I named him Mr. Flippy Fins, a big zebra striped snail that I also forgot the name of, some cherry shrimp, like one bloody Mary, and a crap ton of candy cane shrimp!!!

I only use the sponge filter even though my tank has a built-in filter because I like the way the tannins look in the water <3

This is MY tank but my brother has two little tanks too, (I can't remember how big) I think all the tanks in our house are the father fish method... Anyways he's got some cool stuff in there, my sister has a betta, and we kind of have a "family" tank where we have our axolotl who goes by Greg or Axy

I've been working on finding a BIGGER tank to put in my room/house as well so that's fun!!! Lmk if there's anything else you'd like to know/see and I'll get back to you with those, AND some newer photos!!!
