the morbs never leave me
Above: Raspberries yesterday, not yet ripe, AKA chigger town. *scratches*
Below: The same berry patch May 18.
All the leaves 🍁 🍃 that I collected last fall and I piled up for me to shred, sat in a section of our backyard due to me traveling many times to check on my parents. Over a week ago I got many raspberry bare roots … sooo, I started thinking 🤔
Let me check under them leaves 😲… so many earthworms 🪱 and wonderful leaf compost forming that I decided to make a raspberry patch right there 😆 added compost and planted them raspberry roots! 80 of them 🤣 and I still have many more.

Did a second pass down the raspberry patch, weeding the border in front of canes to tidy things up. The support frame has been tightened up, and I've got just about every new cane tucked in. Time to feed them a bit more, and start giving them some water from the full rain barrels.
