I'm sure it's obvious but the Yiga affiliation remains !! not a huge fan of them though if you can't tell lmao it's just there to fuck with everyone. it can stand the lower ranks but it's not fond of the bigwigs. ESPECIALLY Harbinger for various reasons that may or may not involve Sooga. I'm still figuring out a time frame in which it would even be possible for them to know each other but it's pretty important so I'll. figure it out,, JFKSKFK,, don't even get me started on Kohga
I think it would enable Loti's hatred for Harbinger a lot because it would be really funny

I'll also add the whole story and whatever but just to sum it up quick, Tephra is a little shit wizzrobe who got bored and wormed out of Hyrule Castle and got away with it because it was so lazy that everyone just assumed it got killed or something ??? still working on that bit but anyways it's TECHNICALLY not under the Malice but it's still evil so it hangs around Karusa Valley and fucks around with the Yiga sometimes. Used to mingle around inside the hideout itself but it left and has been a lot more irritable and reclusive since Sooga vanished. lol
it's also technically from my own AU,,, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ratc around with it lol so that's why it was mentioned in. one of the versions of the elder drabble. I dont remember which HFKSJFJSB
it's definitely not elder levels of rotten but it's very bitchy and mean. will throw tantrums when things don't go its way. kohga style

Its name is a play on "stellar" and "astro"....I'm a sucker for starry bs and celestial symbolism. My little nebula bby <3
The lore blurb accidentally got really long so it's under the cut and hopefully it's readable FSHDJSHD. there is so much more symbolism and stuff this is the CONDENSED version. I havent done any serious creative writing since like.....middle school.....so hopefully it's coherent and a decent character concept and all. All this is subject to change btw it was kinda rushed
In a hidden away corner of the hebra mountains, I-35 was raised to be a perfect soldier for the calamity. While on the surface it seemed just the same as it's peers, it was a total mess inside. It was at war with itself, torn between the doctrine pushed upon it and it's curiosity of the world outside. It wanted power, it wanted to serve the calamity, it wanted to be cruel, it wanted to be better than the others…but it couldn't help but wonder why. When it was inducted into the calamity, its confusion only grew more violent. The questions didn't stop, but they hurt so much more than before. The tipping point came when it was put in a group assigned to collect a baby wizzrobe. Due to a snow storm, they didn't find it until several days after it had been born…and when they did, the child wizzrobe had already made itself an identity. Seeing the cruelty the older wizzrobes treated the young one with deepened the cracks in I-35’s mindset, and once the possibility of having a name had entered its mind, it shattered.
I-35 broke free that night. It gave itself a name, and Estra ran. It had wanted so badly to take the little ones in the hideout with it, but it barely got away from the Elder with just itself. The storm was still raging and it used the howling winds for cover, and to get as far away as fast as possible. It wandered for hours, until it ran into a black moblin huddled around a cold campfire.
Im a bit fuzzy on the lore at this point. Basically, Estra freed the moblin (I don't have a name for it yet send help), but the moblin didn't want to be freed. While they stuck together, their different worldviews led to a lot of bickering. To the moblin, life under the calamity was easier. It sucked, sure, but at least it knew where it stood and didn't have to face the guilt of all the atrocities it has committed under the malice. To Estra, the calamity was so objectively evil, that it could not even fathom how the moblin would ever want to go back to it. Uhhhh just go listen to Badger by Fish in a Birdcage i totally didn't shape their dynamic around that song totallyyyyyyy
Stuff happened with a defected yiga member too idk I'm still figuring it out dw about it
Eventually, the ice elder caught up to Estra. While the calamity kept Estra’s defection a secret from the rest of the monsters, the elder has a personal vendetta against it ever since Estra escaped its grasp. Cue epic wizzrobe showdown. Estra had sworn up and down that it would never return to the malice. To go back to the pain, the ruthlessness, the conformity...never again would it return to that darkness. But on that mountain, cornered and alone and out of magic….
Isn't it funny what desperation can drive us to do?
It basically went, "if I could escape the malice once I can do it again" and now it's an evil freezy freak with all its love and identity and memories hidden away somewhere in its magic, with the hope that something will remind it of who it cheated death for. :)))
It's a hypocrite but it's not stupid it has a plan I swear it's gonna all be fine. Probably. It has friends they're gonna help

I'm not sure about the robe design ??? I wasn't thinking about it when I was drawing and then I was like,,, I don't want to just post it naked,,, soo um the robe isn't final or anything I just wanted something glamorous to stick it in for this
whatever thoygh,,, I've had this one for a WHILE actually I just didn't like its old design. I DID like the ROBE from its old design however so I'll probably stick it in something like that in future drawings

It was originally going to be straight up evil in the present but I'm thinking about making it more morally dubious I guess?? Like it defected for selfish reasons but it's figuring it out. if you connect the dots you already know everything is gonna crash and burn for it when it finds out The One It's Looking For is dead. but let me cook I swear let me cook

#myfreak. Svihel's story has also been very inconsistent so um? I don't have anything concrete but at last a morally decent wizzrobe right ???
Svihel and Tephra were an item for a while after their mutual defection but obviously went in very different directions with escaping the Calamity. Svihel's plan was to go into hiding and try its best to give itself and Tephra the most normal life two fugitive wizzrobes can have, and Tephra's plan was vengeance. You can imagine how that went. I'll expand on it whenever I figure out how to draw Hobby.
I imagine Svihel is maybe just short of Rezek's age ?? Not by much or anything, maybe somewhere between it and tri-attack. I'm not sure what its relations with all the defectors would be yet, but I think it would admire them, even if it has more of a Brix type mindset regarding the big final battle.
AS ALWAYS the feather showcase,, this one isn't much but I'm still happy with it
so after this I'll try to draw Hobby, and THEN I can hopefully get refs done for all 3 of the 40s by the time artfight begins :]]
yeah, this might be as far as i get with Hobby ! I'm still not sure how to draw humans but I like how this turned out in the end even if this isn't a FINAL design and I gave up on doing a fullbody KJHSDKGJH
in particular I'm thinking of changing it up to nod back to the hobby, but I like this as a start
Hobby is like,,, the worst at footsoldiering. she'd rather sit by the river and polish steel than actually use it. Tephra is FASCINATED by her, for whatever reason.
pardon the rusty writing this is VERY old,,,, but it's the only part of their story to be set in stone so far. they'll figure it out
