Watching my source makes me sad.

It sucks the Ratchet & Clank fandom is so toxic. I'd like to interact with it more outside of posting the occasional fic and sometimes reblogging art, but the constant hate that the newer games get really stresses me out and upsets me.

I literally grew up with the series and sure, I miss some aspects of the earlier games, but I don't really take any issue with how the newer games have been either. All of the games have suffered clunky writing at times, both the old and the new.

But they're all good. They're all important to me. Including the Ratchet & Clank games the fandom tends to hate.

And it sucks when people call something important "trash." Or call it "Disney-fied." Or having misogynistic attitudes towards the female characters of the franchise. There was one fan who was extremely weird/creepy about Rivet and I have not been okay since seeing the things they said.

In other words if y'all decide to get into the Ratchet & Clank games and end up kinning from it (or even if you don't kin from it), just stay away from the fandom. Some of the content is nice, but a lot of the people suck. - Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank)

I kinda feel like the "Dreamtime" level in Size Matters was in actuality an alternate dimension and I think I might've accidentally astral projected there when the Technomites kidnapped me.

Also, this is a memory from a timeline where I was Rivet (and it was Kit who got me out), not Ratchet (or Clank)-- but I'm sure if I experienced the events of Size Matters in my timeline as Ratchet, that the "Dreamtime" there was also an alternate dimension.
