One paragraph challenge: Someone from Amity Park moves to Gotham and gains Bruce's disdain
Bruce Wayne narrows his eyes, staring daggers across the room at a man who wasn't even looking up from his phone. The meeting hadn't started yet, he knew, but it was common manners to at least greet others when arriving. Not that the other knew what manners were; that much was obvious by the way he seemed to stick his nose into every bit of gossip he came across and verify the truth from rumors. The worst part was how he was always right, no matter what crumbs and carefully laid plans Bruce left. He haunted Bruce, in and out of the cape, and he didn't even seem to be aware or care about Bruce's presence at all! Acting like this was only an issue on Bruce's side, and not a mutual feud that kept them up at night. How dare he. At exactly six o'clock on the dot, the nuisance put down his phone, stood up with a smile, and clapped his hands. "Good evening, everyone. Thank you for coming to tonight's Gotham Academy PTA meeting for the new year. For those who don't know me, I'm Wes Weston, journalist for Gotham City News and single father of two. I apologize for being on my phone; my boss had me do some edits on the latest Batman case a the very last minute. You all know how that is," the red-haired man smiled at the room, causing a few chuckles with his casual charisma. The same charisma he used to steal Bruce's chance to finally be the president of the PTA after all the years of trying and all the kids he had in the district. Bruce damn well nearly bit his tongue with how tightly he clenched his jaw to keep himself from saying something catty. How he loath Wes Weston.
