First impression: A terrifying yellow box. Nowadays: Dear goat it's been what almost 9 years of plots, cabals, counter cabals, shitty movies, fanfics, long disjointed ramblings on a variety of topics...

Terrifying yellow box…? Oh!
That terrifying yellow box.
I wouldn’t trade any of those memories for the world.
And 9 years, eh? I believe that makes us common-law married. So, as your legal husband, I’m entitled to make a few changes around the house.

An author widely praised for delving into the darkest corners of internet culture appears to have taken some of her material on it from Wikipedia entries.
There are several reporters and writers doing great jobs covering the far right, but Angela Nagle isn’t one of them. Don’t buy her book. Do visit rationalwiki.com, where she ripped off a lot of her stuff: it’s actually a lot better and cooler than the name might lead you to believe.
What's your opinion of RationalWiki?

have you tried closing it from the task manager and then restarting it?
OH!!! THAT FIXED IT!!! TYSM
Unpopular Opinion: I think that skepticism-culture places waaaaaay too much of an emphasis on debunking individual pieces of misinformation and lies rather than trying to take down the worldviews that lead to people believing those lies.
Like, it’s very easy to punch down at people you consider “idiots,” but it’s much harder to try and understand the workings of why they believe this garbage and how to kill the worldview that promotes that at the core
We need to stop taking the easy way out, and then wondering why we have such little impact aside from comvincing reactionaries to call themselves “rational...”
