Started a new military kitbash. This is my OC, Ratko, who is a sniper in the Serbian military. I do have an outfit for him, just wanted to share the 1/6 scale body. I am adding tatts later. Fully unclothed photo is on my X account. Also, will be blending the skin a bit. What do you think??

Castlevania AU: Modern Day Occupations

Trevor: Manages a bar. The bar is called Death's Door.

Sypha: Coffee barista who's running a café that doubles as a bookshop.

Alucard: Fencer, figure skater, professional Shakespearean stage actor, is a regular at both the bar and the café.

Greta: Paramedic, also teaches first aid and CPR classes on the side.

Hector: Veterinarian that also volunteers religiously at an animal shelter.

Isaac: Professional Event Photographer (Kind of a weird one, I know, but this is mostly because I imagine Isaac's 'no bullshit' personality would be perfect for corralling large groups of people into formation and keeping them all on schedule.)

Carmilla: Either a fashion model or the CEO of a major fashion company.

Lenore: Assistant to a politician...but she ends up doing all the work and has been quietly plotting her revenge for not getting the recognition she deserves.

Striga: Teaches women's self-defense. Morana attends the class; that's how they met.

Morana: University professor for social studies, psychology, and/or history.

St. Germain: Also university professor, teaching chemistry and/or philosophy.

Godbrand: Coach for some winter related sport. I don't know if he's putting the supportive fear of God into a hockey team or some poor snowboarder, but I'm here for it. Is also a regular at Death's Door.

Varney: That one weird guy who has multiple unrelated occupations, not all of them legit. Lawyer, unlicensed dentist, tax consultant, tailor, etc...

Ratko: Runs a YouTube wilderness survival vlog.

Lisa: Physician (Obviously.)

Dracula: Opera singer. (Don't ask why. I don't know.)

If there's one thing I hate about the castlevania writing, its the lack of any substance to every good character that wasnt the main characters.

Like.. imagine how perfect Ratko and Varney would have been from the get-go. I would pay to see a scene of Varney or Dracula recruiting Ratko, or just anything with extra substance.

What was his life before joining Dracula and Varney? Was he a lower-class vampire with master-level skills who managed to catch the eye of Dracula and Varney? Was he well known for his efficiency and skill, which set up a sort of manhunt to track and capture the (not so) legendary Ratko? Did he ever pursue someone? Did he have a kid somewhere out there? What was his home like, if he ever did have one? Was it underground, a cave system, or a hideout? What was his surname? Did he ever have anything he enjoyed outside of just being a soldier? Was he insecure in his position as a soldier, is that why he lashed out at Varney when he was taunted? What was he like personally? Was he a relatively calm and strategic guy, who just sometimes let his anger get the better of him? What was he actually like in battle? Where was he from?

characters with good designs who get no real depth, and then just get removed will always be the bane of my existence.

Not because they're bad, but because I will never get to know them more 🫩

Yooo open asks!! Could I get Castlevania HCs for Varney, Ratko and Dragan? If you write for them, that is. I'm wondering how they would cope / handle having a human lover, and maybe how their relationship would work were it not for the war? Thank you, I love your work so much. It's rare to see writers for the more background characters of CV ^^

Varney

As Varney, he would be very cheeky & commiserating to his human partner. He likes toying with people and creatures of the human world. It’s a fun past time.

As Death, he has no patience for humans. Their greed. Their pettiness. Their pathetically short lives where they bow and scrap and whine and piss is an annoyance he can only tolerate in the thinnest sense so he can eat. It he didn’t need souls, if he didn’t need death, he would have no use for humans at all.

Ratko

Never gonna happen. At the very best there might be some bar maid/bar fly he’s fond of. Their sassy come backs and ‘fuck the world’ attitude is something he appreciates. He would never take a human lover, but when he slaughters the town (since that’s why he’s there) he will spare them.

Dragan

He does not have the same delusion of his exulted Dracula. Would keep them as a pet, and nothing more. Though a person can love their pets, cherish them, keep them safe, they are not equals.

tumblr is like a little stimboard when you search a not well known character. you get little gifs, funny little scenario's, great art.

and then there's the most disturbing rare pair you've ever heard of and people pouring their hearts out into hating them.
