🕯️ Morticia & Gomez Synastry: Angelica Huston & Raul Julia
I’ve been curious about the synastry between Morticia and Gomez Addams, or rather, that of Angelica Huston and Raul Julia.
Boy, was I not surprised by the synastry I saw!!
Angelica is a Cancer Sun, Mars, Lilith, and Uranus. She is a high-key love witch, y’all.
Now, we don’t know Mr. Julia’s time of birth, but he too has a stacked water stellium with Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Lilith all in Pisces. This is a serious warlock, even if he didn’t know it.
These two dark, witchy stelliums make direct trines to one another, with Angelica’s stellium falling in her 7H of partnerships.
What’s more — and possibly more importantly — they both have early-degree Earth Venus placements in a less than one-degree exact trine.
I’ve said this before many, many times to clients: having both Sun and Venus in the same element and in exact trine, like these two, is the ultimate romantic formula — especially in the water signs!!
Water, symbolized by the Cup suit in Tarot, rules over depth and matters of love. I believe water signs have the capacity to feel the deepest feelings of love possible.
The cherry on top for these two is the Jupiter–Jupiter exact conjunction in Aries, right on Angelica’s IC. Despite being born a decade apart, they are soul family who found comfort in each other’s fiery inner hearth.
Angelica has a Pisces North Node, meaning all of Raul’s Pisces goodness lights up her life path. Star-crossed lovers without a shadow of a doubt.
While they may have never dated outside of their roles in The Addams Family, damn did it translate on screen. This is as good as it gets for synastry.
Unfortunately, she seems to have been drawn too much to her 5H of Taurus in partners — famously (and controversially) with Jack Nicholson and Ryan O’Neal. I think this is due to her triple Virgo influence, with Venus, Moon, and Saturn all in trine to this house.
But 5H isn’t necessarily long-term; it’s fling energy. I think Angelica has had a tough time with romance due to her Cancer stellium. Uranus in the 7H is making a T-square to Neptune and Jupiter, which creates confusion and sudden changes.
Sadly, Raul had one placement that could have prevented any romance — his Chiron in Cancer sits right on Angelica’s Sun.
Morticia and Gomez weren’t acting — they were channeling. This kind of synastry doesn’t fade with time; it leaves a mark on the astral.
