A Tussock moth caterpillar is going to work on some milkweed. I found this plant in the garden the other day and decided to put a camera there for a timelapse. For whatever reason it is satisfying to watch the leaf getting eaten 😆🐛 I also love how the other plants are moving around at night.

🐛 Neben der Regentonne haben wir diese leuchtend grüne #Raupe gefunden. Wahrscheinlich ein #Achateule 🦋🦉. Ihre Raupen haben ein breites Nahrungsspektrum und wir haben sie unter etwas Laub bei den Brennnesseln wieder ausgesetzt.🌱 #Gaten

Due to this year’s drought, it’s already the end of the butterfly season, but the ‘seeds’ for next year have been planted.
