dearest chaeyeon,

i couldn’t help but be intrigued by the drawings you had laid out in the library --- sorry for prying, but they caught my eye unintentionally. i was wondering, and feel free to completely decline, but if i may --- can i stop by and take a glimpse at your drawings? a better one at least. i admire art, you see.. it’s what i take pride in as well.. and i have yet to meet another artist among my housemates or yearmates. but you definitely caught my eye, and i would love to check out your work.

✮ = stargazing

there was something in the air. like an electrifying current that stretched the moment longer than what would traditionally be classified as possible. as if the time had come to a stop.

it was a night without it’s annoying sidekicks (aka breeze and cloud) which made it a fantastic opportunity to observe the wondrous wonders of a starry night. it was a bit chilly despite the season but naomi had prepared herself with different types of knits and woolen scarves. it had come to her attention that a specific constellation would show itself that night and nothing was going to stop her from witnessing it. “i heard it only shows up here every 5th year.” a rosy colour adorned her features as she tentatively glanced at her companion to see her reaction. 

the background music consisted of ooh-ooh’s from the night walkers hiding and thriving in the dark. her nails drummed against the bricks, emitting minuscule tapping noises that had no vigor compared to the orchestra of the night. she felt so small and yet so valiant. escapades suddenly sounded like wonderful concept. “i heard about the upcoming match. people are betting on who’s going to win.” she bit her lower lip in contemplation. she recalled the familiar rush, the wind blowing wildly in your ears. “i want to play again,” she whispered earnestly with an aching heart. a finger suddenly rose to the sky, pointing at a particular spot. naomi followed the direction and felt her jaw go slack in awe. it felt like her neck had an obtuse angle but the only thing on her mind was the itinerary the stars showed her. mussed hair and red noses felt so right at that moment. she stole a glance once more to her side.
