Miri sits, quill hovering over a piece of fine parchment as she played over the words in her mind --- How was she suppose to tell him that she didn’t love him like he loved her. He was a friend; A friend whom she had a crush on long ago. And now, her feelings have simply changed and she loved him merely as a friend and nothing more. But had she had the time to actually go and tell him, no. She wasn’t the best with face to face contact in such a situation like this --- So in her mind, a letter is better than nothing. 

Dear Myungsoo,

I’m not good with words whenever it comes to affairs of the heart. I’ve never been good --- And it’s probably because I’m still so young and haven’t quite fully experienced a love that burns the soul. But I’m writing to you today because I want you to know that we are friends and only friends. I love you, but it’s not a love that stems past friendship. 

She pauses, dark optics reading over what she has so far before she begins once more. 

I will be here for you.. as a friend of course. But my heart isn’t leaning in your favor. I’m sorry(?). I couldn’t come face to face with this decision because I’m not good with confrontations of this nature. You will find someone --- Someone better. Someone actually worth your time and effort. But that person isn’t me. 

“Fuck... I sound awful” --- She sighed softly, free hand roaming through her dark tresses only to knock them back away from her face. 

I really like someone who pretty much won me over, someone who I feel a deep connection to... So please, no more flowers. No more love letters. I want to be friends. I hope you can heal if there is healing needed... I hope it doesn’t hurt, but I know it shouldn’t too much. I had to let you know rather than keeping quiet and to myself.

She folds the paper and stashes it away in an envelope and hands it off to Ares to deliver. A sigh of relief escaped past her lips as she leaned back into her chair, eyes closing tightly in an attempt to relax.

i couldn’t help but be intrigued by the drawings you had laid out in the library --- sorry for prying, but they caught my eye unintentionally. i was wondering, and feel free to completely decline, but if i may --- can i stop by and take a glimpse at your drawings? a better one at least. i admire art, you see.. it’s what i take pride in as well.. and i have yet to meet another artist among my housemates or yearmates. but you definitely caught my eye, and i would love to check out your work.

I’m not sure if you realize who I am.. I come in the infirmary a lot to check up on you in secrecy, only to tell you that I’m feeling ill, or that I need medical attention asap --- I was wondering how you were? How is life treating you?

Would you want to have lunch with me sometime? --- If not, that’s fine. I would love to have a friendly conversation with someone who piques my interest. Or if you want, I could just continue carrying on my long strides to the infirmary to bother you with nonsense.  Either way, I would like to hang out with you.

I need your opinion on something~! It’s food related and I have heard throughout the Gryffindor Tower that your basically a damn foodie who loves food and knows more about it than I ever will. So I thought, “YAY”. 

I need help making a dessert. 

Please don’t laugh... My skills in the kitchen are limited. But I was really hoping if you ever had free time you would be down to teach me a thing or two? Nothing fancy, just a few things that I could use to impress someone.

If you do help me I will seriously love you forever and bombard you with hugs because I’m pretty sweet like that --- Anyways, please let me know so we can set something up soon.

It sounds perfect, aye? Do you remember our late night adventures a few weeks ago? Those were the best.. We need to do that again. Escape away from everything and just wander the grounds.
