A Beautiful Moment...

Her eyes slowly close as her body begins to let go into nothingness gently sinking. She feels herself slipping into a euphoric state of semi-unconsciousness. Releasing his fingers from her throat, he watches as her body slips further down. Quickly wrapping his arms gently around her body to catch her, lifting her up and thrusting her tightly against the wall. She gasps for a breath with a loud moan slipping from her mouth.   Cupping her chin firmly in his hands, he leans into her, taking her soft lips into his, kissing her ravenously, giving her what she was afraid to ask for all along. She is overcome with immense blissful pleasures she would never have imagined without him.  A beautiful moment of divine chaos.

Its hard to find the words for the amalgam of feelings that come to me when I listen to certain songs. When folks sing about better days to come, I feel a mixture of severe sorrow and yearning, tinged with the comforting hope of reassurance that this too shall pass. Nothing lasts forever, be it a moment of happiness or a moment of grief.

Life is hard, but not always. Just gotta keep going. Better days comin' for sure.
