There was this warm, fuzzy feeling spreading inside her chest Ino couldn't explain or put her finger on. She just knew Shikamaru was the one to cause it.

He really cared about her, didn't he?

He wouldn't be holding her like that otherwise or saying these things. She understood and nodded. "I do." Ino sniffed, refraining from wiping at her eyes again. Her eyeliner was already ruined if the state of Shikamaru's shirt was anything to go by. She buried her face in his neck and gently kissed his pulse. "You are sweet. Even when I don't deserve it."

The blonde blushed as Sasuke caressed his cheek like this but he leaned into the touch and closed his eyes. He had missed being like this with him, it had seemed like forever.

Ash finds a beaten and bruised Sasuke, who seemed to have been jumped by thugs, who used their overwhelming numbers game to their advantage.

Ashkine was there in an instant, checking the raven over for any life threatening injuries. Lowering himself to a kneeling position, he gently pulled the other into his arms. Supporting him with a deep growl.

The sound he made was protective, pushing up to stand. Carrying him to his home, heaven help whoever did this to his precious raven. They now have a royally pissed off vampire to deal with.

Shikamaru rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure if that’ll make you feel better.” He grinned. “Even me, who’s normally lazy and mellowed out, know how to have some fun now and again. You need a crash course on how to loosen up.” He concluded.

“Look, just try to pin me down while I do the same. The point is, don’t take it that seriously.”

Neji nodded slightly, he still didn’t quite get the idea just yet, but he figured he would get there eventually. “Okay then.....” He said, still a little bit unsure about the whole thing. He decided to let Shikamaru show him what to do, so he waited for a moment, standing as stiff and guarded as always.
