i feel like ravus would fully accidentally be in big brother mode at the start of his and prompto’s relationship, full teasing and lovingly bullying prompto, which definitely throws off prompto at first because he cant tell if ravus is joking or actually insulting him, but then ravus will fully be the most overprotective of prompto as humanly possible, anyone so much as looks at prompto wrong and ravus will pull his sword out

I’ve been in RavProm hell for nearly a month now, it’s gotten to the point I’m making both a regular length fic and a one-shot collection. Like, it’s such a cute ship I don’t even know where to begin but it’s somehow gone from “oh cute little rarepair” to “this is my new OTP.” Someone send help.

when spring finally hits prompto drags ravus with him to go take photos of the blooming flowers, only to be entirely sidetracked by how surprisingly cute, peaceful and perfect ravus looks sitting in the flower field!!! needless to say prompto doesn’t get any flower pics that day, and they all end up being photos of ravus

and at some point prompto ends up making a flower crown for ravus, so ravus feels the need to return the favor and he makes a flower crown for prompto, except his is much more extravagant because he grew up making flower crowns for luna! the view of ravus wearing a flower crown that prompto made and smiling fondly while weaving together flowers is a sight that prompto will forever cherish

prompto constantly has to try and sneakily take pictures of ravus when he least expects it, because if ravus sees the camera or knows prompto’s taking a picture of him he gets all serious and awkward because he’s not used to having candid photos taken of him, he’s only used to very strict and professional photoshoots. he also cannot seem to fathom why prompto wants so many photos of him, nor how prompto finds him a worthy subject for his photography passion, not really in a “he’s insecure” way but in a “he doesn’t get why prompto gets so much joy from photographing him specifically” way. and no matter how much prompto compliments, reassures, tries (and fails) to explain why, and showers ravus in love, he still doesn’t get it and doesn’t know how to handle the positive attention, and instead just gets surprisingly flustered and shys away from the camera. yet despite all of that, prompto has amassed quite a large collection of really pretty, and sometimes surprisingly cute, pictures of ravus, as well as a few pictures of the both of them together, and a few pictures of prompto himself that ravus took while prompto wasn’t paying attention for both payback for all the photos of him that prompto has taken, and just because he loves prompto and looking at him makes ravus happy.
