Trying to get back into my Magic Box lessons. Here are some really awful red panda studies to prepare for the fancy animals assignment. I’m definitely going to do a bunch more of these before I attempt to sketch out the painting.

Did a rough sketchadoodle for Sketch Dailies #meettheartist. I think I might finish this one up on my Cintiq. :)
Based on the prompts I got from the generator I reblogged earlier. I don't think I'll finish this one, but it was a fun exercise. :)
Got my Cintiq Companion 2 today! I decided to start off with some silly rough doodles to get my feet wet. I did a couple red pandas and one really bad sketch of my roommates sleepy cat. I figured doing these first would get me past the irrational fear of the "first page."
Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone's first week of 2015 has been off to a good start, and if not, just remember there are still 11 months and 3 weeks left to get your goals together! ;) It's been a while since I posted and one of my goals for the new year is to post more across all of the social media platforms I use. That and to make a plan for each platform so I'm not just posting the exact same things on each. In the spirit of actually doing the thing I say I'll do, here's a couple pieces I've done recently. Long time no post! Sorry I've been kind of MIA recently. Lots of stuff going on, like losing my tablet pen right when I was all set to buckle down and really practice digital art. But, I finally accepted that the pen was lost to the depths of my apartment forever and bought a new one!
So here's a sketch to show my excitement over having a tablet pen again, and also a WIP (which I can already see a lot of things I need to fix because I'd flipped the canvas halfway through the sketch). I've been watching too much Fairy Tail, but it's adorable and ridiculous and I love it. I don't have a problem. I don't know what you're talking about.
Sketch dump ~ Practiced drawing girls with glasses, as well as a pouty Sailor Moon and some drawings of me in what I guess is my style at the moment. Enjoy my stupid sketch notes on the last one.
Kinda rough concept for a character for something I'll hopefully be expanding on in the future. Enjoy the sketches and my notes! :)
