Tonight's salad is what I call no overt fat marinara salad. This is made with iceberg lettuce, but mostly Romain because that's what I have right now. This turned out pretty good. I like iceberg best my self but this will have to do. . The dressing is made with 4 soaked sun-dried tomatoes, 1 fresh tomato, about 1/4 of a red bell pepper, 1/4 of a sweet pear, oregano, basil, Italian parsley, and the juice of 1 lemon. I didn't use salt, and there is no overt fats in this. I also didn't use any garlic because I'm out and I forgot to put in the garlic powder. . They key to a good raw marinara is having sun-dried tomatoes, and a sweet. I used pear because I don't have dates right now. And of course the seasonings. Use basil, oregano, garlic, and a bit of onion if you want.
