I'm a day late (two now because this took forever to process), this took me three to do so I dunno how in the hell I thought I could do it in one, but I made this just for his birthday. Love Triangle - Ethan/Matty/Johnson

It's Rhys' birthday today, so I was going to make him his own tribute, but then I got inspired and stayed up all night writing 12k for Matty for my next chapter ;w; So here's a vid I finished as part of a bigger multifandom collab I'm doing with a friend, instead!

Originally I was going to have it be a bit more canon, with the ending being bitterly ironic because Ethan does the exact opposite of make him happy with his love, but then halfway through I turned it into an au of YMMWS. It's set around chapter 4 where, while Matty is figuring out that he's in love and is dealing with that, instead of Ethan figuring out that they both loved him, he does a few things that he thinks will make Matty happy (they don't) before leaving so he doesn't ruin anything else.
