Hey, remember when I thought I could have this done in a weekend >:'D yeah that never happened, because finishing this took forever. I'm so glad I got it done though, ever since my sibling showed me this meme a few months ago I've been like 'oh that's so perfect for Addy, a different Dast could be on each beat', only for me to extend the song and still have to leave some out. If there was a way for me to extend it again without it sounding weird, you could've bet I would've gotten everyone in here TwT

Either way, even missing those few, I'm extremely proud of this. I love just being able to do stuff like this just because I want to, and getting these small peeks into their different worlds together was a lot of fun to animate. Probably gunna rest my hand for a while now though lol this was like a good month long job and my biggest animation to date, even if the majority isn't moving. I can only go bigger from here 😏💙

Posting at 9am to say that SHADOWS AND FLAMES IS D O N E!!! The net never came back on Tuesday OR Wednesday, so they had to unplug the entire thing and are gunna cancel the whole provider for being shit, but once our backup was plugged in and I was able to wrote again, I've been chipping away at this beast of a finale and can finally say it's over QwQ

I'll be posting it Tuesday since it's already Saturday anyway and I need to go to work in an hour, which gives me tons of time to proofread it, and the last one since I never did that either OTL then I'll be back to do my final wordcount of the whole thing on my blog update I've been planning to write since like march oh my god, I'm so proud of myself for getting it done, I'm gunna go to the movies tonight and have a lovely dinner ;w;

I wanted to say thank you again. My friend and I were able to watch the movie together. It was so good. Definitely a hard plot kind of movie but good. I can not thank you more. Can never underestimate the resourcefulness of extreme fans and you are a blessing. And I thank you so much.

I'm so glad, this is exactly why I started to share my collection and keep it updated for everyone 😊 Posting this in the tag to remind those who've visited it before and to let DD's new fans know that I keep an archive of nearly everything he's been in! This includes every single movie and show I can find, plus some of the ones that were lost, such as Cass, Under the Pyramid, and recently Metanoia, which I paid for and ripped myself, as well as Double Black, which was bought by my friend and shared with me so I could rip it.

I plan on eventually adding more things such as live shows, specifically those locked behind a paywall, only with the intention of sharing for those who can't pay, not to be actively spread around. I always say to buy first and support the creators! But I know not everyone can do that, and I hate the thought of just not being able to watch stuff he's in without paying in such expensive times for simply a one-time watch. I also accept media ripped by others, such as the Dr Fearless collection shared by another fan.

I also keep a to do list of things I plan on uploading, such as scenepacks for those who just want David, and upcoming things that have been announced. It hasn't been updated in a while, but new things are coming this year and I can't wait to add them.

Saying this now at 10am after writing all week, but oh my god my internet fucking sucks. It was fine yesterday morning/afternoon when I had my pre-work writing sessions, but by the time I got to my job, the whole thing was down. And has been down. It just never came back.

I've been adding to the fic through the night regardless, which is strictly on docs so I can access all my writing across my devices without paying for Word, and this morning I got up to the final scene before calling it to see if I could sleep and wake up to it back like dad was promising, cause he said 'oh this happens sometimes, it'll be back by tomorrow,' but no such luck. I've already restarted the damn thing three times since yesterday, again just now since I'm up, and I'm still stranded apart from the data on my phone, and I'm not risking trying to post this beast using just tapping and praying.

The finale of SaF will be done today, but I have no idea if I'll be able to even post it, or if I'll have to wait til tonight or tomorrow or whenever it decides to be a working paid service again, and that has me so frustrated beyond belief you guys.

Happy anniversary, Abner 🥰 I've been so busy I didn't have anything prepared this year, completely forgot until my calender reminded me yesterday, so here's what their finished frames will look like from the wip I posted on David's birthday~ I'm still chipping away at it during work, but each one is somehow taking like a hour at least since I do have to, y'know, work 😩

Posting this now at 10am to say that the finale of Shadows and Flames aka season 2 of Reprisal is being written, according to my plans I had two pages worth of predecided plot to get through, one section bigger than the other by double. So naturally the smaller section is already at 13k, and now it's tuesday, because no plans are ever small and simple for me to write once I get going and they change how everything turns out.

I'm going to keep writing through the day, and I can't take tomorrow off either job to focus on it since this is going to be a long one as it deserves, so odds are me writing and proofing and posting might end up taking til thursday at the earliest, and saturday at the latest, because that's Matty's anniversary.

Yup, I took an entire year to write this one, because it's ten chapters and 200k+ longer than season 1.

I still have to make a post reflecting on the whole thing and updating you guys on where the readers will come back in after this, I'm just a bit annoyed that that announcement was planned like months ago and now it's august. This series has been my main focus since I started season 2 last year, taking over everything else apart from my art, since I was able to do a good deal of that at work and write when I got home with little variation in between, such as working on selfship plots or editing non Dast videos.

I can't wait for that freedom to last longer than a few work hours or taking a day off at home, but I just need a little longer to finish up this massive undertaking of pure love. I have no idea how long the chapter will turn out based on what I've already done, but I refuse to break it up now at the very end out of pure stubbornness lol so either way I'll have something to post this week if not just saturday.

And then I'll be free too QwQ I can't wait to share the s2 finale with you ❤️💙💛
