So my lamb is named Raine. They are,,,, unwell.

They were recklessly angry as a new vessel, dying very often and only focusing on spilling the blood of those who they hate, which was most of everyone. The first change to that was Snowe, their first follower. Her fluffy appearance and kind demeanor is very similar to what they see as other lambs as being, but that also helps solidify their hatred even more. How dare the old faith hunt and harm creatures like this?

The reason they wear gloves is because they won’t let their hands get bloodied for The One Who Waits— despite not all blood being for him.

They’re scared to lose their flock again. Do they really care for any of their followers, save for Snowe? Not really, but the idea of them? In a twisted possession kind of way? Yes. Anyone they deem a danger gets dealt with at night. Anyone from actual spies and dissenters to those who just can’t do a job right. They’re a liability and will serve the flock well dead if not alive…. food/fertilizer.

Their hatred also was directed to Narinder, not that he minded. All he needed was a tool and he can deal with them later after all—

(he couldn’t deal with them later and got usurped)

The only reason Raine spared him was if anything, they keep promises. He is released as they said he would be. No more and no less. That’s the only reason they let him live despite hating him.

Raine knew he wouldn’t be immediately a good follower but for the promise they bite their tongue. As long as he doesn’t hurt or kill Snowe, they’ll let him do most of whatever. They’re better than the bishops after all, right? He may be put in the pillory every so often, but it doesn’t much affect him. He was imprisoned for 1000 years in a void of nothingness, what’s a couple days in nature to him? It’s basically free thinking time.

When he’s freed, they still wear gloves. Ain’t that funny? Narinder agrees. When he finds that they’re still as ruthless under the cover of night, he laughs and lowkey finds it hot asf. He laughs and decides it’s worth to circle around them more. How entertaining, right? To watch a hypocrite at work, enjoy the blood baths… mock them.

Narinder is mostly seen as a pest at first, but due to the promise they made to themselves about him, it pretty much allows him to get closer to Raine than any other follower could. Mocking turning from malicious to familiar to friendly banter over time. Over a long time. Just think of his follower quest happening over many years.

He doesn’t really view Raine as above him and they’re admittedly completely fine with that. Comfortable, even. They kind of become friends without acknowledgment. There’s something very nice about having someone who treats them as something similar to an equal. Narinder finds it joyous that his usurper is someone like them. No, not someone like them- but only them.

They give him a missionary necklace around this time if he ever chooses to leave. They wish for him to live. He’s won their trust. He’s now someone who cannot die.

They’re willing to say he’s a friend deep down, but nothing more. Truly loving someone will lead to hurt, ya know? Look what happened to their family? Family they can never bring back or see again? They can put their merciful and friendly cult leader face they use in the day to reject follower love confessions easily of course…. But what is Narinder about to do?

Cold water. Dread.

They didn’t hear him say that, right? Surely not. Definitely. Just walk away like it never happened and it’ll go back to normal, right? Right…. Right?

Avoidance from him and he lashes out at other followers. Especially those who have certain feelings towards Raine. How childish?

Fine then. They’ll avoid him too. They have Snowe, they’ll be fine. What do you mean Snowe’s relationship with Raine is a different comfort to them than what they had with Narinder? What was their relationship with that cat?

Hey what are those two followers doing in that pink tent? Well- they know what they’re doing, but… what does that feel like? Very curious. They refuse to do anything with a follower. That’s disgusting…. But Narinder isn’t just a follower. He’s totally over those silly little feelings he said before, right? This isn’t them using him to feel something knowing deep down he wouldn’t refuse this, right? The chance to hold them? Touch them? They won’t admit the answer.

No kissing or “I love you”s allowed.

Curiosity satisfied, unfortunately there’s a dirty feeling looming. Just bury that too. Avoid what could be causing it, just as the cause is avoiding them too.

Time passes.

Do they love the cat at this point? No. Like actually no. Not romantically. But they do miss him. They talk to Snowe a lot about this. Raine doesn’t love him, but they like him. There’s no one else like Narinder. Is the anxiety they feel really worth losing him? Would they really mind him courting them as a try? A way to ease in and explore the part of them they deny? Would he still take them after everything? Does he hate them for using him? Ah, they used him. They should apologize for that as well, huh? It’s been so long since they felt regret like this and for someone they once hated is absurd to them in a way.

So they do apologize and I’m actually working on a comic for it < 3 They cat is down bad, bro. He didn’t stand a chance. That’s all I’ll say for now on that.

They start slow. They don’t love him quite yet and they’re awkward with true affection. Lust and love are very different, afterall.

Time passes.

Married and happy… but not any less who they are— now having Narinder encouraging them to accept marriage proposals. Good for the faith and power for him to put those who think they’re at the same level as him in their place. No matter who they wed, HE AND HE ALONE is their true love and how cute his possessiveness is.

Power murder couple.

They still think they’re better than the bishops, esp after recruiting them, but honestly not by much < 3 They still never form other bonds with other regular followers except for Snowe. He encourages their cruelty and that’s how they flirt sometimes.

Also Raine is usually the top. They love to be in control and Narinder also loves when they’re in control. Makes his stomach do flips every time. He doesn’t revere them like other followers, but this is his alter, he’ll gladly get on his knees for them and worship his god in his own way. Anything they give him is a gift from the heavens in his three eyes.

Woolhaven makes them a bit more unwell being seen as a higher being from their own kind and they let Narinder really take control then to feel like the prey sheep are. If it wasn’t for him and their relationship, Raine would have given themselves to the rot. They resent Yngya for a bit but couldn’t ever bring themselves to hate her. She eventually gets put in the sameish category as Snowe with feeling like family. : )

Dude, what? You sound insufferable. Once you release your work, people can headcanon whatever they want about it. You're very weird for trying to control what people hc because it doesn't align with your preferences 'as the artist'.

Looking at your latest bluesky post in your narilamb is nari the bottom or a switch?

While technically a switch, he is their bottom more often than not. I will forever stand with my bottom Narinder propaganda. It kind of went from him being worshipped in his mind to then also being like a gift/blessing from his God.

Also he’s freaky. Raine was rough with him and he was like “…. Do that again.”

I've been told people think Heket is Yellow Cat.

Someone said the way her bandages are drawn makes her look more like yellow cat but... There are no bandages. She would be healed here. I'm guessing its the eyes on her head giving her a kind of cat ear shape but ???? She's red??? Unless they think I drew Yellow Cat red with anger??? The blue overlay I used made her less saturated like reds do underwater, so I had to bring some red back in.

I know how you feel. I used to do art for a different fandom and they'd tag my ship art as "anti-ship" for every thing I posted. No matter how many times I blocked them, they just made new accounts and did the same thing over and over. I'm no longer part of that fandom and they have since gained infamy as being "one of those" fandoms.

You have every right to complain about such behavior. It's disgusting and demoralizing. You deserve better.

Its just a ridiculously petty thing to do and I'm sorry you had to experience that. There are people behind each thing of art and it seems like others just forget that. Artist are people who enjoy things and draw the things they enjoy. Shitting on their joys to their face is just so OUGH. Why? There are so many other places to talk about disliking a thing or head canons. It seems intentionally petty.

That fandom is also one of those so I'm not surprised on it, unfortunately. <|3
