Idle curiosity: Is there a difference between heresy and heterodoxy, or is all heterodoxy considered heretical?

the tl;dr is basically that heresy is an absolute no-no. heterodoxy is kinda not allowed but not banishable.

A gender connected to rays of all kinds (sea/ocean, sting etc), space, and rays in space or made of stars and space dust. this gender may feel flowy, cute and like its flying with the stars and waves.

Can I ask how you became a sex educator? I'm working on my nursing degree to specialize in reproductive health and I'd love to go into sex ed eventually.

it’s so funny that you ask because I was literally just talking to a class about this

so the relatively short version of how I became a sex educator is

get really into Sexplanations videos in high school

double major in sociology and gender studies; I don’t actually know how relevant that is, but it’s what I did

join LGBT student group and co-found feminist student group freshman year of college

use every possible opportunity to give presentations about sex ed to the aforementioned groups

accidentally turn into a sex ed tumblr because you complained about your younger sister’s health class neglecting to mention the clitoris 

do an internship in your campus office of LBGT Student Services

during a months-long depressive episode, get REALLY invested in the subject of virginity as it applies to queer people

give first conference presentation at the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference 2018 

spend a year working for the National LGBTQ Task Force organizing a sex educators’ conference in Michigan 

get certified to teach the Our Whole Lives Program 

during all of this, read a lot of extremely niche books

and say yes whenever someone asks you to do a sex ed presentation

never get paid for any of this, except the internship  

I wouldn’t recommend trying to replicate all of that! 

there’s no single route to sex education, and all kinds of backgrounds are perfectly amenable to getting involved in it. draw on the knowledge you have, find the topics you’re specifically passionate about, and use the platforms available to you! many ways to teach, etc.

On a happier note, hummingbirds don't technically sleep, they hibernate! Their metabolism is so fast that they basically spend their entire waking hours eating so in order to take a long enough break to sleep they have to briefly hibernate :)

Is bibliomancy considered witchcraft in the catholic church? I know a lot of protestants do it, but it doesn't really seem like a great way to engage with the text.

I’ll be completely honest, I am not too familiar with what bibliomancy entails. I know it’s considered a form of divination which is a no-no but I am not actually sure how it’s practiced.

Fun fact! Jewelweed is a common remedy for poison ivy, used by rubbing the crushed leaves and stem in the part of the body that got exposed. This is really helpful because they tend to grow right next to each other!
