For all my friends who live here in Florida . I started this team trail many years ago. Working law enforcement back then so I couldn't maintain it. Rich stepped in and took it over. This is one of the things he does for local hero's. It is for a good cause and you know we support our military. Well today was final day of championship. I didn't sleep a wink last night. Well headed out this morning with game plan. Had three spots I was rotating to. Got to first spot bam put three in the boat. Had about seven pounds. Heading to what I considered my big fish area. 9n the way there Yep blew the motor up. Took me over 4.5 hours to get back to launch area. I had the plan but did not count on mechanical failure. Well such is life. Am I disappointed yes but I can't let it get to me. Next season starts in a month. Hope to have engine fixed by then. I want to thank my wife for her support this weekend. She traveled back and forth from home every day to support me. End of the season results nationally. Well just checked online to see how I did nationally . I ended up finishing 16th in the nation off of points this past year. Hmm not to bad out of the thousands that fish the ABA CIRCUIT. I ended up actually in second place all ARMY team nationally hmmm not to shabby. I ended up 2nd place in AOY nationally. Yep could have done better there. Yep I'm going Pro next year .....yeah right LMAO.
