RAYONG and TRASH MANAGEMENT

As visited Rayong, found out that types and amount of the trash are depending on the seasons, the water wave around gulf, the season and human activities.

Here are the 4 beaches that I choose to survey, each of them have difference activities and human activities.

Next, the way that people in Rayong manage their trash is RDF abd Landfill. RDF is a process where they take plastic or landfill to recycle to a fuel.

And some generally thing that people do at Rayong such as “Trash Hero”, gather and collecting trash along the beach area every weekend

However, these all activities are all about managing the consequences and not raise so much awareness to people. Due to the rising number of population using internet and phone in Rayong, there must be some way people use it as a device to raise awareness about trash.

An application called “Ecolife” , people will earn points if they rejected plastic packaging, and using points and others app about tracking trash and where to throw it away. However, it still a close loop and not effective for people, especially wealthy or teenage people.

Vincent Van Gogh has always been one of my biggest creative inspirations. Even thought it’s a different medium I have always wanted to capture color and feeling in everyday things the way he did.
