As some of you may know, I’ve commissioned a series of #curlingfanart for members of @teamniklasedin over the past few months starting w/ 🐐 @niklasedin ‘s #birthday With how things have gone the past year due to C19 & given the fact that #WMCC2021 starts the day after my birthday, I decided to commission art for myself because we all know nobody’s commissioning art for me) combining two of my current passions - #curling and the Ray__C community on Twitch & Discord. If you’re not familiar, Twitch & Discord chats use emotes and I drew inspiration from a couple of them because they also meshed well w/ curling, especially #Raywall or #Donowall which is what social media often makes me feel because people don’t seem to “get” my intense level of hardcore fangirling regardless of how much time, money, and effort I put into it. Plus as a TWD fan, if X dies, we riot is a common #meme so it works all around. . . Thank you to @ikarusarts for the wonderful piece! You managed to integrate the emotes inspiration into a previous fanart I commissioned and combine it w/ the photo I submitted for my fan cutout that’s been sitting in Calgary for weeks now - me wearing the Team Edin jersey holding the NSYNC 🐐 but with better hair than my cutout! 👏👏👏 Hopefully the Swedes see my cutout in the stands at some point during the month they’ll be competing in the Calgary Curling Bubble. #happybirthdaytome 🎂 . .
