Kanetsugu... Fufu.

First of all, all the guys in Sengoku are amazing... without exception. I'm not so sure about one guy, but it's probably just my prejudice. I'm too overprotective of my beloved. So no matter who you choose, by the end of his route, you'll love him.

Kanetsugu is extremely stubborn. He's convinced of a very stupid idea, and no one can make him see it differently. His best friend is Keiji. It's impossible to imagine two less similar people. But deep down... they are similar.

Mai is the most hilarious on Kanetsugu's route. I laughed hysterically at her thoughts. But the story is heartbreaking. One of the best stories in this game.

You have a good eye.

One problem, though... they still haven't added his route to the game.

At the launch of the game (if the devs don't decide otherwise), there will be Nobunaga (3 endings), Masamune (3 endings), Kenshin (3 endings), a Nobunaga sequel, a Nobunaga continuation (don't ask, not me came up with that term), and two new guys: Saizo and Rikyu.

But if you're impatient, you can always install the classic Sengoku and read the story there.

hi irina!! have you tried the diamond roulette on ikevil? I think they are being so generous (and I hope this will never change!) like the minimum diamonds that we get are 5 and we have 5 chances per day to play it.... while ikepri only give us 3 chances and the minimum is 1..... 🫠

First, I came across a post saying that they got 25 diamonds in the villains' roulette, and that's probably the minimum. Then I thought they were very lucky. Especially since the minimum is usually 1 diamond.

But then I tried my luck on my own… Yes, 5 diamonds is the minimum, and we can do it up to 5 times a day. So 25 is indeed the minimum. It's really awesome.

I need to explain. In the first sentence, 世界のピースに過ぎない - "just a piece of the world". In this sentence, he said that the fact of his birth does mean nothing on a scale of the world. Oh, Rayya, dear...

I'm probably the weirdest person when it comes to writing…

To be honest, I never planned to write in English. Like… ever...

There was a time when I wrote a lot in my native language. Really… a lot. Looking back, I am very surprised at how much I wrote. But since I grew up, and the sweet fairy tales that were in my head grew up with me and stopped being so full of rainbows, I lost… inspiration.

There are people who like to write about dark topics. There are people who like to write about spice. There are people who like to write about sweet romance… etc. I loved writing stories that make you cry… from happiness. Full of tenderness, hope and love… but… since I've become tougher, sharper, I've lost the ability to create such stories.

And when I started writing for this blog, a year and a half ago (Prologue). Really? It feels like it was a long time ago… So when I start writing again, it were already jokes. An unexpected twist, hah?

So… since I didn't know English well, it was easier for me to write in my native language and use Google translate and local translator (which was better back then). And do the reverse several times… This little double arrow in the center.

No one wants to know my native language. So I'll show you with an obvious example.

It's funnier with words that have multiple meanings, but okay…

Now… I'm writing a story in English. I feel more confident in my ability to speak English (very optimistic of me). So… I write with errors in Google Docs or here and check the text in Google translate… And switch-switch. A miracle. All errors are fixed.

And after this monster cut out all the beautiful words and structions from my brilliant text (I won't deny the obvious), but corrected all the grammatical errors, I am correcting the text again. Trying to revive my perfection and avoid making new mistakes. Soooooo…….. this process can take pretty much of the time. Like… I fixed. Checked. Fixed again… and… Well, you got the point. I have already mentioned that I am very optimistic about my knowledge.

Some lines don't sound very good to my ears, and I use paraphraser. Like this one... quillbot. It not only replaces words with others with the same or similar meaning, it changes the structure of the sentence, sometimes very significantly. Like here...

I never mentioned it much… My native language is very variable. I can literally arrange the words in any order… And it will still be understandable. And I treat the same way English, so my sentences may sound strange. Google or other translators won't fix this. But paraphrasers can.

But I don't do this often. First, they have limits on the use of most language styles. And secondly… I like my odd sentences, they give the text a mood and.. individuality. They make it… alive.

I know it's not very deep… And many people make much more efforts to deepen their knowledge of English or another language. And I respect them for that. But… I don't need English in real life. At all. Neither for work, nor for personal life. I don't even have any friends I can talk to in English. And for a person who doesn't really need it, I think that's more than enough.

And, as I said before… I never intended to write in English. Yes, I really enjoy to come up with jokes and tender scenes… it's still just a hobby. And I don't see the point in looking for more advanced technology. I believe they have also implemented AI in it…

The difference in events between the EN and JP servers of the game can be quite significant.

I remember very vividly one example from the Princes. The Japanese game had a story event with little Belle. The first part of the event included 3 stories. Gilbert (with a card), Sariel and Luke.

In the English game, they released the same event as a paid story, with only two stories.

No Luke...

I am somewhat proud to made a summary of the story, which was never translated by the developers. But at the same time, it's very upsetting. The story is very good.

And the reason why they reject the idea of publishing it as a story event is still unknown. I can't say that Sari is much more popular than Luke…

But this is literally the only example I can give you. Maybe the rest wasn't that big and I didn't notice.

In Villains, as we know, the developers doesn't make reruns. The collection events are sold in the shop, and I don't remember any story events being repeated till now. Correct me if I'm wrong. So there are differences.

But even so there is a possibility that the events will not be translated into English or will be implemented in another form. I have high hopes for the Villains EN team. They are very attentive to the opinion of the fans. They didn't even include the promise in the election based on the ratings.

So… I AM afraid that we won't see this absolutely gorgeous event with Harry on the EN server, but at the same time, I still believe we WILL see…

I love mint… and mint color too… Very pretty…

It's simple. If there is a walkthrough, I will use it. If there isn't one… I have no choice but to try to guess for myself. I mostly play f2p, so I don't have many bottles to risk.

Like… when I started Rikyu's route, I couldn't find the right answers and made a mistake once, and now I'm begging that bastard (lovingly) Rikyu, give me that damn pink bottle or two as a surprise gift. You know what? He gave me blue.

I hate him (still lovingly).

But the more you play, the more these bottles accumulate, so I considered the option to try myself sometimes… For example, when Azel route is released, I will definitely try to guess myself. I don't remember the answers, but even so I can definitely find them, I want to try. Azel always awakes my competitive side. I have no idea why.

If I won't do this, these bottles will remain in my luggage forever.

Because if you go through the route again and you already have the epilogues… It doesn't matter if you finish with a full score or not, you will still get dias. But things get more complicated with sequels, you need a certain number of points to start the ending… So… perhaps at some point to have them will make sense.

I understand perfectly well that the devs are trying to give us something new, but they don't want to spend too much time on it. This is completely normal. But I would prefer something else…

hello irina! so the news about new suitors on ikesen makes me... kinda tempted to start play it... (and does it make ikesen have the most suitors on ikeseries now?)

actually I've been having an interest with ieyasu (because someone on twitter said that he's a bit similiar with licht😭) but I'm trying to hold up because ikepri & ikevil already took my time and mind (and money....), but now I'm considering it again... but ikesen's storyline is about japanese's history right? do you think it'll be hard to understand for someone that didn't know anything about the history? thank you!

After watching the trailer, I had a question… and how am I supposed to choose one card??? They are so awesome!!! And pretty! It's just a nightmare…

Considering that the game is already 10 years, it is not surprising that they have the most suitors. They add 2-3 new guys every few years. I think to create at least something new to work with, it can be quite boring to deal with the same characters that you already write so much about… And fresh blood (so to speak) can give a new boost to inspiration. And… spin the wheel of new stories… There's so much new!

I've never heard of such a comparison. But now, after what you've told me, I kind of see it. But I would say that he is combination of Yves and Licht. A very cute combination. I love Ieyasu… He's grumpy, stubborn, and sweet… and smart... Not to mention that he is very handsome and I LOVE his voice. I like the way he interacts with Nobu, and how he hates (read, worries about) Mitsunari, and how he loves spicy food… Damn, I really love this guy. But in Sengoku, all the guys are amazing. It's like a heaven… They're all great, and every story with them just proves it.

I don't know history. Even the history of my country, not to mention Japan. But Sengoku, like Genjiden, is not really a history. Yes, they have historical figures. Some historical facts. But… It's mostly fiction which have very little to do with reality. Do you remember Vampires? How different these boys are from historical figures. It's the same here. But there is a lot of war. On every route, at least something will happen on the battlefield. But mostly they focused on Mai's emotions or how brave/smart/strong/fearless/cunning the guys are.

I'm really looking forward to the release of this updated version of Sengoku. And if/when it comes out in English, I will definitely download it. I'm so happy… there will be cards. Like… not the ones I got by reading routes, but much more!!! I'm so happy!!!!

But JP… I have no idea how to reduce the number of JP games that I already have, so no… I won't add another one.
