thinking about raz and how immortality made him into the worst person he could be

he's shallow and cruel and deeply afraid. others' lives are a blink of an eye and are all but meaningless- but he clings desperately to his own life and assigns it the greatest value, above all else because it's his. and in a similar manner, he assigns value to his quads because they're his, and even following the relationship they still hold value to him because they were his.

he craves simplicity and that makes him dismissive and careless, willing to feed his own memories to horrorterrors because he can't cope with his own eternal lifespan and fears the emotional complexity of it more than he fears forgetting.

hes shallow and vain and hasn't changed at all in the hundreds, thousands of sweeps he's been alive and yet hes changed so much, hes deeply wounded and scarred over to the point that he can't tell whats left of himself anymore

he throws himself away willingly and then chases what he gave in the hopes of gaining insight on why he's like this, how to make it easier, how to cope, clearly he knew at some point. there has to be some answer to it all. he knows theres not but still he chases it, like running around the world to try and catch the sun.

hes a coward and a liar and of course he is, he loves so deeply. cherishes and fears those he loves so much for spending what little time they have with him, and for their ability to hurt him so much and for so long, because existing and loving is salt in the wound now, there's no healing him

hes an impossibility, his existence is a cosmic joke, hes an arbiter of trollkind, he is nothing and he is everything, hes a guy making informed and uninformed conclusions about what he could possibly be in a desperate attempt to make sense of it all, to understand why him, why he never wanted this, to live forever, yet he can't bring himself to die

Oh god, has he. He's been fucking around and finding out since the equivalent of ancient Greek times, so he's definitely broken bones. He does not remember all the instances but I'm sure a few were more than a bit traumatic, especially considering his blood color.

╰(*´︶`*)╯: Do they appreciate hugs? Would they prefer to give hugs or receive hugs? What kind of hugs do they like to receive and/or give?

He's not really a hugger, even with people he's close to. He'll keep them brief and lacking any extensive contact, just a quick kinda squeeze. If he's the one being hugged he'll tolerate it for a second before being like 'okay okay wrap it up you sap' and such.

🐻 ---- What are some strange sleep patterns your muse has? Do they sleep a lot, too little, not at all? He has a pretty normal sleep schedule, surprisingly enough. He has a bit of a habit of staying up too late working on something, and tends not to sleep in after. Just goes through the next night Tired and usually stays at home.

🦉 ---- What's the wisest thing your muse has ever said? Are they often that way? This lil shit ain't wise. He's smart, sure, and makes some good points sometimes, but I wouldn't say it's wise.

🐝 ---- Has your muse ever helped someone in a tough situation? Do they enjoy helping others? If he helps others, it's usually on a whim, and he won't admit it but he does like being helpful.

Excitement and Confusion for Raz and Nebale

Raz:

When excited, Raz very visibly perks up, his shoulders and brows lift and his eyes just light up. He tends to talk faster (I know it's non-verbal but yknow), grins from ear to ear and also tends to gesture with his hands in front of him. It's not often he gets really excited though so you usually only see heavily subdued versions of the above.

He doesn't show confusion much so it usually presents more like doubt- Narrowing his eyes, lifting a brow and tilting his head 'press x to doubt' style. Alternatively, more like surprise if what you said totally threw him for a loop.

Nebale:

Nebale's excitement can read a bit like aggression- He tends to grin very wide (TEETH) and lean forward or loom over others. His tail might lash or he might shout/pump his fist if he's really worked up. He normally moves kind of slowly and carefully around others, so I imagine it's a bit of a surprise to see him moving quickly or suddenly at all.

When confused he tends to open his mouth and go 'huh', wrinkling his nose, furrowing his brow and tilting his head. He can sometimes lean forward to get in someone's face if they continue to confuse him and he's trying to get clarification.
