Opened up an old file and found that the rbfr Moon and Y/n rivalry has been going on for some time now. Past me knew what he was doing

I also gave Y/n a sword apparently???

oh and of course some angst on the side :)

Time for rbfr Sun's fight scene as todays warm up sketch. While Moon might be more straight to the point and blunt

Sun is forceful, more brutal with his movements and more erratic (tribute to his old energetic attitude).

He is so so okay.

I literally randomly woke up a few minutes ago with a random headcanon...

Soooo I was thinking about TMNT The Last Ronin like:

"Damn that is soooo dark and angsty.... I fucking looooove this!"

Then I thought about one of the scenes with the Ronin having a conversation with his brothers who aren't even there cuz they are dead and survivor's guilt I think (I could be remembering that wrong)

Then I thought about rbfr Sun & Moon...

"There is NO WAY those lads don't have survivor's guilt"

And as I was thinking about it, since Sun & Moon are separated bots from different locations with their other counter parts no longer around...

My headcanon is whenever either one of them are alone/by themselves (or think they are alone), start talking to themselves as if their counter part is right there but in reality they aren't.

Like for example:

-While Sun is trying to prepare the food for the kids in a different room, he hears his Moon counter part talking to him. And Sun is just chatting with him as if it was a normal non post apocalyptic day.

-Or Moon while on guard duty he hears his Sun counter part and just talk to him. But more listening than being chatty.

Imagine if this is how Y/N knows a little bit more about these bots through their one sided conversations to themselves.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! MY BRAIN ROT IS SO STRONG! HELP! lol

You're spot on with survivors guilt. And I loveLOVE your headcanons because I can see how they can be possible in the reality of RB&FR.

Sun can slip up expecting an answer from Moon mentally but that line has been cut. You know when you daydream scenarios of conversations with people, and they say something that doesn't fit them? That could be Sun's guilt shining through as that isn't how it goes.

Or Moon staying away from the bright lights unconsciously, since now he can walk out into daylight but not change. (Moon does not have access to his Sundrops mechanics but he can't bring himself to remove the remaining rays on his face)

yo- take this ask as an opportunity to drop some RB&FR trivia that maybe you don't think could be brought up normally. or just. brainrot in general. can be written if that's faster!

I am fuming so THANK YOU, not too sure how I can format this but I'll tag it as ramblings :) writing it down is faster so I'll do that

RB&FR timeline is a bit blurry for when it takes place but things have overgrown. Buildings that aren't taken care of are now overrun with animals or rogue bots.

Sun and Moon are separate animatronics. Both coming from different pizza plexes/pizzarias, and both Respectively lost their version of Sun&Moon (either through a corrupt code or wipe :) )

The parasitic Fungi or Afton virus, can effect both organic life AND bots. Different effects depending on the infected.

Daylight plays a crucial role in survival in RB&FR

There are stories around Sun&Moon, either speaking of robots who take in lost children or fears of Animatronics who steal them.

It's a known taboo to talk about the undead (it's a sore subject and religious conflict)

Y/n is investigating the origins or more about the undead, "Know your enemy like your friend" deal over here. So naturally Y/n is isolated socially as well.

In this AU Sun&Moon still distrust maintenance and anyone messing with their hardware. In consequence of getting taken apart or left for dead (it takes REAL trust for them to give consent to Y/n)

Children are often abandoned by smaller groups because of the vulnerability they pose in an emergency. Results in one of the two Animatronics staying with the kids while the other goes searching/guarding.

Being nomadic is pretty normal here. Moving around place to place instead of staying in one spot.

That's all can think of at the moment BUT you can add onto or what you interpret from this :)!

RB&FR is such a brainrot for me, cause my brain wants to throw in cyber punk elements cause how well it would fit within a post apocalyptic setting.

Like the last shred of humanity living peacefully in the ruins of the old world with a little bit by their side, old parts being turned into instruments and evolving.

Also thinking of the Fazbear Enterprise, old tech being branched off of that. The color purple could be perceived as danger or a position of power again (like war paint?). Robot designs based off the main band, abandoned staff bots, evolved AI.

Trading by skill and not purely money.

"You need fish? I'll give it to ya if you can make me hooks"

Community gardens protected heavily from disease, or markets in an old parking buildings. Homes interlocked and high off the ground below.

Some of those people see robots as a taboo, or not to be trusted. People started moving around, old travel vans running off alternative energy or horseback.

Just sm can be done in the background of how it all can work, and how it's changed.
