Fun fact about my sona, while they look mostly like a bunny, they’re actually a powerful magical entity. They can shapeshift to a degree. And most importantly they’re Immortal! But not in the “they can’t die” way, but rather Jesus style B) (dies but revives a few days later)

I’m writing a story where like, 30 minutes to an hour before the events of the story, a character is strangled and nearly loses consciousness before escaping. The story itself takes place over the course of about 7 hours. What effects would the strangulation have on this character? I know strangulation causes bruises but I dunno what else and I don’t exactly want this in my search history
