Health update:
I'm recovering. I think. Slowly.
The pills I'm on are making me really stupid and hard to hold a thought in my head, so what I can do while I'm off is pretty limited. I can't really concentrate on tv shows, gaming or reading, or stuff like making playlists or filing things like I normally like to do. I'm kinda halfassing a bunch of things as a result.
My mum did help me tidy my house and prepare for looking after myself while she was here, but she also used it as an excuse to criticize a lot of how I was doing things before which, idk if it was really the time and place to do. Given I just had an organ cut out and have been kinda out of it. And given the main reason the house was messy is because I worked at my job up until the day I had the operation, which I was given less than a week's notice was happening so I had to organize so much stuff in advance for including clearing a whole bedroom of stuff so my mother would have a space to sleep.
I'm trying not to worry about my recovery.
In an ironic twist after the hospital/doctors resisted telling me anything about my condiition for years and held off on me getting treatment too, they let me leave the hospital without giving me any info or notes at all apart from a letter saying 'we will write to your GP the outcome of your faulty organ testing'.
As a result I have no idea how long I should take off work, what painkillers I should use, how I should ease myself back to normality etc.
I will get it sorted but I might actually sue once my head is more in gear bc even now I can tell thats just SO irresponsible.

Thank you for 18 wonderful years, Rock Band!
The delisting of RB4 marks the end of the series, but I appreciate all the time we spent together and the friends made both through Harmonix and the community.
I was proud to work on 50 tracks on the RB2/RB3 Rock Band Network, including several fully authored myself,
and loved the chance to be a RB4 ambassador, getting a full band kit as part of the Rock Band Road Crew.
This was such a cool series to be a part of, so for the final time:
