abalone: what kind of situations compromise my muse emotionally

       losing his loved ones, or being the cause of someone else’s misfortune. he thought he was prepared to take up yuu.ko’s mantle, but when it came time to pay up, he really wasn’t. wata.nuki only wants what’s best for everyone and their happiness, and when given the knowledge of what will happen to those who pay this price, or how drastically it’ll affect them, he can’t stay unbiased.

       this is why early on in, he continuously misjudged the prices for his clients’ wishes and received the consequences himself, which much of the time was actual bodily harm, at times enough that he was in danger of losing his life. he’s grown out of it now, somewhat, knowing that whatever hurt he receives will only be reflected by those who love him, but he is still unable to completely stand by and allow people to walk straight over a metaphorical cliff over their wishes basically. even if he doesn’t know how, he will definitely find a way to change the future, and for the better.
