｡.:*☆ "Han Solo!" Finally, a familiar face. And, even more, his companion and partner on crime. The only person Chewbacca could usually tolerate having around. So Chewie did what he would usually do in such a situation - pulling Han into one of his bear hugs without worrying about the fact that the man most likely had no idea who he even was currently. Given Chewie was less hairy and not that tall anymore, and, well... human.

beth was pacing the floor of the room. she had no clue what she was going to say to her mom. as far as they'd both known her whole life she was just adopted as a baby. maddie was the only mother beth ever knew. and having to remember on top of all the awful things that'd happened she didn't want to lose that. she'd been more of a mom to her than her biological mother. "mom, i have to tell you something. and it's going to sound weird, okay? but you have to let me get it all out."

"i'm not usually a talking about it kind of person." she could be, when the mood really struck, but toph wasn't sure if she had reached that level of stress or sadness yet. "how about you teach me how to walk on my hands? that sounds way better than having a feelings chat."

she hadn't wanted to leave, to take her eyes away from azriel with the false hope that he might wake up the moment she blinked, but mor knew there was nothing that they could do until the found rhys. they needed him first, because cauldron knew mor and cassian should not be left alone to figure this out on their own. because if she stayed there any longer, she was going to follow cassian into whatever rampage he was about to go on. winnowing into rhys' study, mor knew she was a fucking sight to see, her dress and hands caked in blood, face smeared with a mixture of it and tears from wiping at her eyes, eyes wide as she stared back at her cousin, her best friend, their high lord. she needed all three of them right now. "azriel's dead." the words were choked out, breathing labored. "i-- cass and i found him-- he's.. he's dead, rhys."
