Working on a steamy new Morlawny picture 🏳️🌈😍🤠🎩🍆
I’ve been asked by folk why I give Trelawny curls in a lot of my writing and drawings. So every Game scene between Arthur and Trelawny is like watching the movie “Bringing Up Baby”. They interact the same way with Trelawny always being way too clever (and flirty) for the very flustered Arthur, who always goes along for the ride.
Stephen Gevedon (the actor who played him) said he based the character’s voice and delivery on Katherine Hepburn, the visual/physical mannerisms are a nod to Cary Grant. Grant always kept his hair slicked perfectly and he had a big Trelawny look to him. But his hair was naturally very dark and curly, so he used it as a visual for stress or comedy scenes.
Doesn’t hurt both Hepburn and Grant are lovingly considered Queer Icons now.☺️
