Back in the beta version of red dead two, all of the camp girls were meant to be sex workers, like active sex workers, but it was removed after seeing the input that the actors came with, but while it was removed there are still a few places where it is mentioned.

Susan calls the girls 'whores' quite a lot, and it isn't because she is trying to talk down to them, but because that is what they were back when those interactions were recorded. It is also interesting to note that she says "In my days it just didn't happen. I mean, talk back to a madam? Ha!" meaning she would have had the role of well... A madam, she would have overseen all their work. She also says she does her best to keep them presentable but that she expect them to be happy if their company is all sour.

Another character that has an interaction where they mention this part of the gals is Uncle. He talks about how they were ever so worried but that he stroked their tears and told them words of comfort. He said "to one of those two dollar whores" that maybe one day they could be five dollar whores or a housemaid! He then adds to the boys he tells this to that they know it wont happen, that they will die on their back at the hands of a man.

Last but not least we have Sean, who during an interaction while standing guard will tell Morgan it is all quiet and asks him to send "one of them girls over".

We don't know too much about what the relations or conditions of the girls would have been, but we at least know Dutch would have respected them as Susan mentions she ain't allowed to hit them.... she still does it though.
