You HAVE to watch this awesome video made by a biologist/science educator[Forrest Valkai, which is SUCH a badass name btw] about sex, gender, social perceptions of both, as well as development and genetics associated with them.
It's really interesting and gives you SO MUCH fuel if anyone tries to argue that "people are either male or female" or "facts don't care about feelings" or "have you read a basic biology book?".
It touches on SO MANY topics and is an AMAZING place to start if you want to know/understand more about this stuff.
Like, I already knew a lot and I learned SO MUCH?!, but he never gets condescending or antagonistic.
It's awesome.
The dude also has a long-running series where he reacts to and thoroughly destroys videos and movies made by young-earth creationists and other evolution deniers.
