smoking on THOUGHTS and DREAMS
Peter is still devilishly handsome, even in this time period. This is another one of my favourite Spider-Man comic stories.
Marvel 1602: Spider-Man.
This is gonna be a somewhat a big post.
Read Tower of God on webtoon.
Watch it, it got its anime adaptation.
Whyyyy?!??!!
Cuz its awesome.
Why?
Let me tell u now.
The webcomic started in a boring manner. But the ppl in the comments kept telling that this journey was worth it.
AND LET ME TELL U IT WAS WORTH IT.
The plot, the characters, the growth in the art theoughout the chapters, all of it was amazing.
LOOK AT THIS BABIES, AINT IT AMAZING.
AND LET ME TELL U, I DINT TAKE THIS SCREENSHOTS FOR THIS POSTS, BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPER AWESOME.
Man im fangirling again.
I was a girl to read BL or romance or slice of life, and i only read action toons if they had a good storyline. I watched Attack On Titan cuz it was awesome, Death Note cuz it was awesome and read Tower of God cuz it was awesome!!!
The storyline connects itself to everything, and reading chapters makes u gradually understand every.
To say the truth, i myself had left the comic when i was reading the first or second chap, but when i decided to read it completely i did not regret my decision. You will see the comments of the chapters saying that this webcomic is amazing, and it is.
I really dont know what to say cuz i am speechless at how amazing this is.
The gradual rise of amazingness this webtoon had was splendid, the storyline was written carefully, and the arcs...... OMG THE ARCS!!
I am tell you the arcs in this comic are amazing. It is definitely the most amazing thing.
I really do not go out appreciating things to make posts about them, but as i was coming to the end of the recent chapter i made my mind to make a post about beacause i, myself was entranced throughout reading this.
Reblog this post, like it, heck repost it!!
I dont care. Spread the message to your followers cuz i dont have many
Love u, bye.
PLEASE READ WILDE LIFE
“After all, language also becomes endangered. And even becomes extinct. As I write this, there are seven known individuals alive who are the last speakers of their language, the majority of which are indigenous languages or ones that are perishing due to prior colonization. Beyond the confines of human biology, we are living in an era of mass extinction. All over the world songbird populations are declining. Creatures with names like wagtail, starling and the yellow breasted bunting are in precipitous decline, which means that the biophony, the ever present ambient sound that emanates from our planet, is losing its voices. Although it's not very scientific of me to call it this, I ask for a poetic suggestion: that perhaps we are losing the language of songbirds from our collective stories. The names for those birds will be lost as much as their memories, when they are gone and our descendants don't know of them.
The struggle with human forces, social, political, economic, is clearly one of survival, then. It is not just science fiction where entire worlds are colonized. For that matter, the genre spent a few decades in the twentieth century putting stories about the glory of colonization at its forefront. Yet it’s in our human history that people are enslaved or driven to reservations or exploited for labor that damages their lives and environment, and their collective memories are rendered traumatic and their languages are annihilated, and half of all species other than our own can vanish in a single human lifetime.
As I write this, I think of the Great Barrier Reef, a place I would have always liked to have seen with my own eyes, but likely never will. Yes, it is dying, as the living symbiotes which compose its complex ecosystem cannot tolerate the heat of the oceans we have warmed. But something we hadn’t accounted for is possibly happening: the coral holobiont might be adapting, moving, changing. We hadn’t accounted in our ability to think of the future for biology superseding our technology. That’s the final thing I find so mysteriously compelling abut Sloane’s work, that hope may lie in the mysteries of biology. That biology, bodies and memories are just as parasitic, alive, gruesome and fleshy as our language. They might be the same thing. ”
-Aaron Stewart-Ahn, co-writer of Mandy, in his afterword for Sloane Leong’s comic Prism Stalker
