Seriously, read this. It’s a very very short Leia story. Leia, growing up on Alderaan, what she knows, what she notices, how the Force works, what she learns from her parents (directly and otherwise)...it’s beautiful. I don’t think I’ve seen such an effective and interesting use of parentheses in fiction before.
