life struggles...usually when one book does something to piss me off or when I get embarrassed by the characters and need a little moment to regroup :)

haha that's a good system! If I pause reading to do something like school or go pick up food, I will pick up another book. If I'm just non-stop reading, I will read a few chapters and then go to the next one and then go back

1. How many books do you own: LORD...lol okay let me check. --- 205 books. 

2. How many are unread?: okay let me check. --- 41...thats pretty damn good. I've read most of the books that I own.

3. Do you have a favorite genre: I tend to gravitate towards books that have a fantasy element. Some kind of magic, or powers, or maybe creatures. I rarely like to read contemporary novels unless...FEELS! Books like Easy by Tammara Webber or Reason to Breath by Rebecca Donovan are the kind of contemporary novels I like to read.

4. Who is your favorite hated character: I'm guessing that means my favorite villain? -- Hmmm...I'm going to revert to my favorite answer...Billy Dent. Jasper Dents dad in I Hunt Killers. He's a fun villain. Keeps Jazz and I on our toes. Gotta watch out for him because he always has something evil up his sleeve, and always has a way of making sure you're the one to do it for him. That jackass!

5. Do you have a reading goal for 2014?: NO!...I don't like the idea of reading goals. I mean more power to you if you have them, no judgement from me. But I feel like giving myself a 'goal' for a number of books to read in a given amount of time is putting pressure on myself when reading is something I do for fun. I don't want to HAVE to read a certain amount of books a month, or HAVE to stay on track with reading because I want to stay on track with a goal...sometimes I go on fanfic binges and don't read a novel for two or three months...then what, you know? I mean, its not like i'm NOT reading...but i'm not reading books sooo...I don't know. Reading goals aren't for me that's all.
