The door opened with a click. you were lying on the sofa and scrolling through social media. dohoon entered the apartment and shuffled towards you before putting his whole body weight onto you and wrapping his arms around your torso. “i missed youuuu…” he dragged on. “mhm….” you said while scrolling through your phone and bringing up one hand to play with his hair.
“you know… im still a bit spooked about the obsession…” he started, “and i really dont want to sleep alone tonight. What if nikki showed up outside my window?” you let out a chuckle at his statement which you found pretty amusing.
“she won’t. she’s fictional.”
“but what if she does? i need emotional support. physical emotional support.”
“dude you watched the movie like 5 months ago.”
“but still….”
“Theres a guest bedroom, i guess you can sleep there for the night?”
“Okay!”
you stifled a laugh. dohoon was so cute.

You were woken up by the sound of footsteps and your door opening. you rubbed your eyes before sitting up slowly. There was a figure at the end of your bed. The silhouette casted shadows on your bedroom floor. However, it was dark so you couldn’t see well. “Who’s there?” you asked. a familiar voice greeted you. “Hi.” it was dohoon. why was he in your room at— you checked your bedside clock. it was 12:06. it hasn’t even been an hour since the two of you went to bed.
“What do you need?” you asked.
“So like… i kinda got scared of the dark.”
“Dohoon. You’re 21.”
“So? i still need my physical support.”
You shifted yourself towards the left side of your bed to make space for dohoon. He happily climbed into your bed and threw himself onto you and nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck. “This is what i meant by physical support.” he said, voice muffled. You rolled your eyes playfully. Not that he could see it though. The two of you fell asleep after a while.

“Ring….” the sound of your alarm rang out, jolting you awake. You were supposed to go the movies with dohoon today to watch a movie. A horror move, to be exact. One of your favourite genres. You got up and checked the time. It was about 3 pm. You had slept at about 6am because you were rushing assignments and doing late night studying. You got up reluctantly but it was okay because you were going to see dohoon. You went into your kitchen and cooked a few eggs to eat before heading back into your room.
You wanted to dress nicely for the occasion. You also wanted to head there 15 minutes earlier. No particular reason why though. You eventually decided on a random oversized sports jersey and a pair of baggy jeans. You put on a pair of shoes and left the house.
When you reached the theatre, you already saw dohoon waiting outside. You checked the time on your phone. 15:45 (3:45 pm). You had reached on time. Dohoon saw you and gave you this huge smile. It was so mesmerising you actually forgot how to walk so he approached you first. “I’ve been waiting here since 3,” he said, as if it weren’t a big deal. You stared at him. Since 3? wow.
“Let’s go in,” he motioned. You followed him through the hallway to enter the cinema to buy tickets. The two of you managed to snag seats right in the middle, giving you a potentially perfect view to watch the movie. The seats were occupied pretty quickly, given that Obsession was quite a popular movie.
You bought your tickets and went through the staff before heading to the designated cinema. You two then went in. The cinema was huge. you quickly went to your seats and sat down. The ads started playing.
Soon, the movie started. You were watching intently, completely unaware of the fact that in fact, dohoon was NOT a fan of horror! (As you can see from the TWS:club episodes lmao) Every time there was a potential jumpscare, he would flinch. “You alright?” yu asked, concerned. he nodded his head. He was trying to put up a tough guy persona, it seemed. You were quite convinced though,
He was barely holding up with the mild jumpscares. He was gripping the arm rest so hard in an attempt to ease himself. You however, contrasting to dohoon being scared, you were not even one bit scared. You loved horror ever since you were a kid and grew up watching a few horror movies, so you were accustomed to it.
Suddenly, there was a jumpscare (sarah’s death ykyk). He couldn’t even flinch in time. He just buried his head in the crook of your neck. You froze. the sudden contact started you. You didn’t really know what to do. “…Are you okay...?” “no…” he mumbled into your neck.
“I thought you weren’t scared?”
“I lied okay?” he muttered. “I hate horror a lot. But i like you a lot. Like a lot lot. i just wanted to spend time with you.”
Oh.
