⋆.𐙚 ̊ clingy!tws headcanons, idol!tws x gn!reader, wc: +1.7k, i mean no harm to any of the members. this is purely a work of fiction!
⋆˚꩜。 shinyu
shinyu may be the eldest in the group, but as the youngest in his family, there's nothing he likes more than being babied by you. it had been their day off and you had planned an outing together that day. but shinyu was being extra clingy, refusing to get out of bed.
"baby, five more minutes, please," he said, voice muffled as he burrowed his face in the crook of your neck, messing up his bedhead even more, which you didn't even know was possible. you always teased him how crazy his hair would be after bed, having your phone gallery full of pictures of what he looked like first thing in the morning.
"hwannie, you've been saying that for the past hour," you whined as lightly hit his chest, feigning annoyance. but on the inside, you didn't mind the opportunity to cuddle with him a little bit more. especially since he’d been so tired from his schedules lately.
"last five minutes, i promise," he replied, hugging you even closer to his chest. you could only roll your eyes in amusement, giving in to his request. your hand unconsciously reaches up to thread your fingers through his hair, as if he was a puppy. he hummed and smiled even in his sleepy state, thinking that he could stay here in this moment for the rest of his life.
rest of the members under the cut!
⋆˚꩜。 dohoon
it was a friday night, and that meant your weekly date night with dohoon. this week, you had decided to have a stay in date at their dorms, where you ordered food for everyone and played video games in the living room. you all were having fun, throwing jokes left and right, and making fun of each other’s mario kart skills. as the night grew darker, the others started heading to bed, leaving you and dohoon in the living room
you had shifted from your spot from the couch, planning to clean up the mess before heading home. dohoon had told you they had schedules the next day, so it was best for you to go home so that you were out of everybody’s way when they needed to get ready in the morning.
“i’ll go home after cleaning-“ you started, before you felt dohoon’s arms wrap around your waist. “no,” he whined “you’re staying the night with me.” you could only let out a small laugh at his reaction. dohoon, despite caring so deeply of his cool image, was always so clingy when the it’s time for you to go home. he had always claimed that you helped him sleep better. which is true, considering it would need double the effort to get him out of his bed if you were sleeping with him.
“you have schedules tomorrow and i don’t want to bother-“ you couldn’t even finish you sentence before dohoon pulled you back on the couch. falling onto your back, you barely had time to escape before dohoon put his entire body weight on you. “you’re not a bother to anyone, and the schedules are in the afternoon,” he said casually as if you weren’t being squished, “so can we please cuddle and sleep in tomorrow?” he finally brought his gaze to you, waiting for your response.
you were going to say no, but you couldn’t resist the look on his face. from his beady eyes, to his puffed out cheeks, and to his pouty lips, he was already begging you to stay.
“fine, you’re getting away with it this time,” you said before placing a kiss on his lips. but who were you kidding, he always got his way.
⋆˚꩜。 youngjae
youngjae was always the quiet one, but you noticed that tonight he had been maybe too quiet. you were hanging out with the other members, exploring the city after dinner. throughout the night, you would squeeze youngjae’s hand and ask him with your eyes if everything was okay. but he’d only give you a reassuring smile in return before turning his attention back to the group.
everybody decided to go back to the hotel, already tired from the day’s activities. you were sharing a room with youngjae of course, and you were also excited to have some alone time with him after a long day out with friends.
you barely got to close the door to the hotel room when youngjae caught you in the biggest bear hug, dropping his forehead to your shoulder.
"is something wrong?", you asked, concerned over your boyfriend's behavior. you felt him shake his head against your shoulder, "nothing, just wanted your attention."
you smiled at his reason before teasing him, "you big baby. let's spend tomorrow for just the two of us, hm?" you suggested as you rubbed his back, not rushing to let go of the embrace.
throughout your relationship with youngjae, you came to realize that when his social battery would run out, his favorite way to recharge would be to spend some alone time with you.
he reluctantly let go of your hold to go and get ready for bed, but not before stealing a kiss and walking away as if he didn't ask to be babied for a good minute or two.
⋆˚꩜。 hanjin
the moment the members had told you that hanjin was not feeling well, you immediately went to the store to buy things you needed to take care of him.
when you arrived at the dorms, you quietly walked in hanjin's room. approaching his bed, you tried to locate your boyfriend who was buried under blankets and his many plushies.
he stirred in his sleep, peaking his head from under the blankets. he squinted his eyes up at the figure in front of him. when he realized that it was you, he frowned, feeling guilty. "baobei, you didn't have to come here. you'll get sick," he said as he hid himself under the blanket again.
still, you approached him, and patted his head over the blanket. "don't worry, i'll just be in the kitchen making you food." you had left the room and made your way to the kitchen.
you hadn't even finished unpacking the groceries, when your heard a door click open and close. out came hanjin still wrapped in his blanket, taking small and slow steps to you in the kitchen. you were about the scold him when he had simply come up to hug you from behind.
"i want cuddles," he said, voice raspy and muffled. your heart immediately melted, not having the heart to scold him anymore. you grabbed him by the hand and guided him to the couch.
"we can cuddle later when you've eaten some food and taken your medicine, okay?" you said, as you made sure he was comfy on one side of the couch. all hanjin wanted to do was to cling on to you everywhere you went. but he knew you were doing what was best for him.
so he watched you move around the kitchen from the living room sofa, wondering how lucky he was to have you.
⋆˚꩜。 jihoon
if you could describe han jihoon in only one word, it definitely would be clingy. you could be anywhere. in the dance practice room, their dorms, even in public. he would hug you, beg you to pet his hair, even putting his body in weird positions just to gain your attention and place his head under your hand.
you would sometimes wonder if he ever ran out of energy. because by the way you watch him interact with his members and perform on stage, it really did seem like he had unlimited energy.
but after a certain busy and tiring comeback season, they finally had a few days off. you were on your way to their dorm, already having a bag full of snacks to share with everybody. you were already thinking of all of the things that jihoon would want to tell you about this comeback and every funny moment that had happened in between.
but you were surprised when you entered their dorm and you weren't ambushed by your boyfriend, who would usually come bounding down the hallway to greet you like a puppy waiting for his owner. you found the other members in the living room, but jihoon had been nowhere to be found.
dohoon said that jihoon was in their room, saying that he was retiring early for the night. after dropping off the snacks, you went to jihoon's room where you found him already in bed, body in another weird sleeping position. you always teased him with the way that even in his sleep, his body can't stop moving.
you approached his bed, deciding to join him. jihoon stirred in his sleep, already moving aside to make space for you. even if he was half-asleep, it was as if he knew it was you, already had the feeling of your presence memorized.
once settled in bed, you could only laugh at the contrast of the situation. this was one of the rare times where you found jihoon tired out. calm, even. but nothing changed, as even in his sleepy state, he found your wrist and brought it to his head, asking for head rubs as he continued to fall back asleep.
⋆˚꩜。 kyungmin
kyungmin was already so babied by his members, being the maknae. so in your relationship, it was actually kind of rare for him to be clingy to you, especially since he was used to being the eldest in his family, anyway.
but perhaps today was an exception. you were hanging out with the rest of the members at an arcade, having a go at the different games with each of the members.
but now that you were back home, you had wondered why kyungmin was following you around everywhere you'd go. even now as you were trying to focus on the movie that the two of you were supposed to be watching, kyungmin was restless beside you.
"okay, what's wrong?" you asked, as you finally turned to face him. he couldn't even meet your eyes, choosing to focus his eyes on his lap.
"y-you haven't been giving me a lot of attention today," he confessed quietly, "but you were having so much fun, so i didn't want to bring it up."
"aww, is my minie jelous?" you said, teasingly. before he could even protest, you wrapped your arms around him, snuggling your face into his chest. "you don't have to keep it in, okay? i like it when you're clingy."
kyungmin couldn't even respond. instead, he welcomed the attention with open arms, his heart warming at the fact that he doesn't need to pretend or hide his feelings, especially not from you.
gosh i forgot how hard it is to write headcanons hehe but i hope you like them!! pls send in any thoughts, ideas, requests and i'll try to get to them when i can! i'd also love to chitchat about the members any time!
yn makes it exactly three steps past the school gate before the universe decides to intervene. not five, not six. three.
"ID?" the guard asks, already holding out his hand, bored but prepared, the stance of a man who has seen too much and is ready for more.
easy, automatic, muscle memory. yn reaches for his pocket without even looking, already mentally moving on to the next part of his day—then freezes.
he pats the pocket again, slower, more intentional. like maybe he just missed it the first time. then the other pocket, then the jacket, then the bag. zip open, rummage, fingers digging through chaos. zip closed, unzip again because maybe it respawned?
nothing.
absolutely nothing.
yn lets out a laugh, sharp and awkward, because that’s his default setting when panic hits. the kind of laugh that says i’m fine while actively not being fine. "okay, wait," he says quickly, already dropping his bag to the ground. "this is fixable. this is very fixable."
he starts pulling things out one by one like he’s filming a what’s in my bag vlog for an audience that did not ask, notebook, charger, pencil case, loose pens that should have been in the pencil case, another charger that he forgot to return to kyungmin three weeks ago, a crumpled receipt, and a sticky note that just says buy milk with no context.
he holds up the empty bag and peers inside like the id might be hiding in a corner, embarrassed. "i didn’t forget on purpose!" yn blurts, words tumbling out fast. "i wrote it down. i reminded myself. like, a lot. there were notes involved. multiple notes. this wasn’t negligence!"
the guard sighs, rubbing his temple like this exact sentence has been spoken to him twelve times already today. "week one," he mutters. "everyone’s still adjusting." yn’s eyes light up instantly, hope flickering back to life. "so i’m good?"
"you’re allowed in," the guard says, already pulling out a clipboard and a pen.
"but i’m logging this." yn’s smile freezes mid existence. not gone. just buffering. "logging… how?"
"failure to present id," the guard replies. "warning today. follow up if it happens again." yn nods way too fast, like speed alone will fix this. the guard waves him through without looking up. "don’t make it a habit."
yn steps onto campus like he just won a court case on a technicality. he straightens his bag, adjusts his jacket, fixes his hair in a reflective window. he walks with confidence that is completely undeserved, chest lifted, stride purposeful, like a man who absolutely did not almost get turned away at the gate.
he passes the main building. the bulletin board layered in too many posters. club sign-ups, event announcements, motivational quotes that feel vaguely threatening. the vending machines that are somehow already empty. he’s replaying the interaction in his head, polishing it. in his version, the guard laughed. maybe clapped a little. maybe said 'wow kid, you’ve got a good heart.'
six minutes later, his phone buzzes.
yn does not stop immediately. he takes two more steps first, like maybe ignoring it will undo whatever this is. like if he pretends hard enough, the universe will get embarrassed and take it back. then he sighs and pulls his phone out.
he stares at the screen.
blinks once.
then again, slower. like the words might rearrange themselves out of pity.
"no," yn says quietly.
then louder. "no?"
he scrolls. refreshes. nothing else. just the same message sitting there confidently, aggressively calm. he looks back toward the gate like the guard might still be watching, like this is all an elaborate social experiment designed specifically to ruin his morning.
his phone buzzes again. same notice. same tone. somehow more disrespectful. yn exhales hard, long, dramatic. "oh," he mutters. "logging means detention. that’s fun. that's a fun interpretation."
he pockets the phone and keeps walking, but slower now. betrayed. wounded. spiritually inconvenienced. students pass him, laughing, complaining about classes, holding their ids like responsible people. every lanyard feels personal.
he rereads the email. room 214, four o’clock.
of course it is. room 214. the room that exists exclusively for people who almost had it together. the room where dreams go to reflect. yn turns around slowly, shoulders sagging, every step heavy with the weight of irony. a man who tried his best and still lost.
halfway down the hallway, he opens his notes app. there they are. three identical lines. bold, merciless, haunting.
BRING ID.
BRING ID.
BRING ID.
he stares at them like they might explain themselves, like one of them might apologize.
"this is actually insane," yn mutters to no one, his thumb hovering uselessly over the screen. he locks the phone, slips it back into his pocket. stands there for a moment longer than necessary, staring at the ground like it might open up and swallow him whole.

both reader and shinyu in their 20s, based in seoul, feat dohoon, jihoon, and kyungmin of tws, sooin, narin, and ella of meovv
synopsis:
shinyu’s dependable. everyone know’s that. he’s the one people go to when plans fall apart. when things go wrong. but with you, all of that falls away. only with you does he feel comfortable enough to let his guard down, and in a way that’s entirely natural.
Outside the tall windows, the campus is shrouded in the darkness of the evening sky. But inside, the fluorescent lights buzz brightly over a scattered mess of laptops and half-empty coffee cups.
Shinyu’s group presentation is tomorrow morning. And they’ve just discovered that some of the graphs pulled data from the wrong dataset.
“I can’t believe this happened,” Dohoon groans. “Now we have to start over.”
“There’s actually no way. I swear we literally verified the slides like fifty times,” Kyungmin adds, dragging his hands through his hair.
Shinyu rubs his eyes, forcing himself to think past the panic rising in the room. The presentation is tomorrow. There’s no time to fix everything.
“Okay, wait,” he says. “Can you show me exactly where the numbers are wrong?”
“Here,” Sooin says as she points to a table. “The analysis on the side isn’t wrong, the numbers just don’t correspond for some reason.”
Shinyu leans forward to study the screen. His eyes move quickly as he scans the table, then the spreadsheet, then back to the presentation. Everyone’s holding their breath, no one uttering a word.
“I think I know what’s going on,” Shinyu says suddenly.
Everyone lifts their heads.
“Basically, the spreadsheet that was linked to this table is wrong. Meaning the numbers have changed. There must have been a mixup somewhere when we were editing the presentation. The good news is the analysis and the writing are still correct. We only need to relink the data and update the figures.”
Relief flickers through the room.
“I can relink the graphs,” Kyungmin suggests immediately, already moving to open the file.
“I can double check when you’re finished,” Narin adds.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, you arrive to pick Shinyu up. You couldn’t help but glance through the window as you wait for him.
From outside, you see him sitting at the center, speaking calmly as he points at the screen as the others lean in toward him.
Eventually, the graphs and tables reappear, correctly formatted this time.
“Oh my god,” Ella breathes. “I actually thought we were dead.”
Shinyu leans back in his chair for the first time all evening, rolling his shoulders once.
“Seriously,” Dohoon says as he slings his bag over his shoulder,” thank god we caught that. Otherwise we’d be doomed for sure.”
Shinyu shakes his head with a laugh.
“Make sure you get some sleep,” he calls as the room empties.
You slip inside as the last student leaves, the door clicking shut behind you.
Shinyu drags a hand down his face before bringing his arms above his head as he stretches, breathing a sigh of relief that sounds like it’s been waiting hours to escape.
“Tired?” you ask, stepping forward and wrapping your arms around him.
“Exhausted,” he replies, closing his arms around you without hesitation
You start to pull back so you can walk home together, but he doesn’t budge.
“Wait,” he says. “Just a few minutes more. I need to recharge.”
You laugh in amusement, resting your cheek against his chest.
“You’re such a baby,” you tease. “I wonder what your team would think if they saw you now.”
“They should be thankful I didn’t panic in front of them,” he replies. “You know more than anyone that that would’ve made everything worse.
“True,” you agree. “You already stress me out.”
“Hey,” he protests, pouting, though laughter sits faintly in his eyes. For the first time all evening, he lets himself rest.
—
The late afternoon sun hangs low over campus as students cluster in groups across the lawn. You spot him before he sees you, his tall frame towering gently over the crowd. When his eyes finally land on you, his face instantly breaks out into a small smile. Shinyu crosses the remaining distance in just a few long strides.
“Hi,” he says. He doesn’t waste any time to intertwine his fingers with yours.
“How was class?” you ask.
“Long,” he answers. “I stopped listening halfway through.”
“Why am I not surprised?” you laugh.
“Okay, in my defense, it was so boring. Like, more boring than usual,” he whines automatically. A breeze lifts his hair so it’s slightly parted across his forehead. Without thinking, you smooth it back into place.
“Did you eat yet?” he asks.
“I was waiting for you to finish class,” you reply. At the crosswalk, he moves so that he’s now leaning on you slightly.
When your drinks arrive at the cafe, he reaches for your drink instead of his own, taking a sip through your straw.
“Hey,” you accuse teasingly.
“Tastes better,” he says, handing it back with a cheeky smile.
You don’t push it, though you laugh at the childish expression on his face. By habit, you brush a crumb from the corner of his mouth, the half-bitten croissant sitting on the plate.
—
You’re gathered in a study room with Shinyu and your friends. Papers are strewn across the tables, laptops lie open, highlighters scattered in a messy constellation of fluorescent colors. Shinyu sits beside you with his attention fixed on the notes in front of him.
Most of your dates have devolved to this; you had research projects to finish, and he had his thesis. Lately, the two of you spent most of your time together studying just to stay focused. Or at least, you were.
Thirty minutes in, his knee not so accidentally presses against yours. You continue typing.
Ten minutes later, his shoulder leans into yours too. You shift slightly so he’s comfortable without so much of a pause.
Then, like gravity, his head lowers to rest against your shoulder. He keeps reading on his laptop. You don’t look at him. You just continue marking your notes, your elbow brushing his.
Across the table, someone snorts.
“He only does that with you,” Jihoon says.
Shinyu doesn’t lift his head. He simply reaches for your hand and threads his fingers through yours while his other hand flips a page.
He sticks his tongue smugly, entirely unconcerned.
“What?” he murmurs, eyes still scanning text. “It’s comfortable. You’re just jealous.”
“Fine, fine, you win,” Jihoon gives in.
You laugh and squeeze his hand once. He squeezes back immediately.
Every few minutes he adjusts slightly, seeking warmth, until his temple rests more securely against you. When you pause to switch highlighters, his fingers tighten around yours in a soft, wordless protest until your hand settles back into place.
—
By the time you reach your apartment, the sky has deepened into a soft evening blue. You unlock the door, and Shinyu steps inside, exhaling a sigh of relaxation immediately.
He pauses just long enough to pull his hoodie over his head, then reaches for the oversized one draped over your chair.
“Don’t you have your own?” you ask, pouting.
“This one’s better,” he replies immediately. He pulls it on before you can argue, the sleeves swallowing his hands.
The mattress creaks, and you glance over to see he’s already face-down across your bed, with one arm tucked under the pillow and the other dangling toward the floor.
After a minute, you cross to the bed and sit beside him. Your hand finds his back automatically, rubbing slow circles up and down. His muscles loosen almost instantly.
“I’m so tired,” he murmurs into the pillow, his voice muffled. “I don’t want to think anymore.”
“I know. Just rest a little.”
Your hand continues its slow path between his shoulder blades. He shifts closer to the edge of the bed, making space for you without lifting his head.
“Stay,” he adds quietly.
You hum in response, and soon enough, he falls asleep.
—
Shinyu hasn’t moved in almost two hours. At some point, he rolled toward you in his sleep, fingers curling loosely into the fabric of your shift like he was making sure you hadn’t disappeared.
You let him rest. But it was now around dinner time. And at the very least, you were rather hungry.
You brush your fingers lightly through his hair.
“Shinyu,” you murmur.
A faint groan answers you. He burrows deeper under the blankets.
“Shinyu.”
He blinks slowly, his lashes fluttering against his face before he squints up at you.
“What time is it?” he mumbles.
“Late enough,” you say. “You’ve been asleep for two hours.”
“Five more minutes.”
You laugh quietly and poke his shoulder. He responds by catching your hand and holding it tightly, his eyes already drifting closed again.
“Don’t you want to eat something for dinner?” you try.
He hums, as if genuinely considering it, then turns his face back into the pillow. You sigh, running your hand over the back of his head to smooth his hair down again.
“And you need to shower,” you add gently. “You’ve been running around all day.”
He lifts his head just enough to squint at you.
“Are you kicking me out?”
You laugh at his antics. He lets out a small, incredulous huff before dropping his forehead back against you.
“You’re unbelievable,” he says, his voice still sleepy.
You shift slightly.
“Come on. Up.”
He doesn’t move. You wait.
Still nothing.
With visible reluctance, he finally pushes himself upright. The oversized sleeves slide down past his hands again. His hair sticks up in uneven angles. His eyes barely stay open.
You can’t help but smile.
“Go shower,” you whisper.
“You better be here when I come back,” he says, sighing dramatically as he shuffles toward the bathroom. He pauses in the doorway just long enough to glance back at you.
You nod, amused.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
The door closes. A moment later, the sound of running water fills the apartment. You order food while you wait.
When he reemerges, his hair damp and hoodie swapped for one of your old t-shirts, he looks more awake, though only slightly. He walks straight back to the bed and drops down beside you without a word, resting his head against your shoulder instantly.
“Did you order something?” he asks.
“Of course.”
He nods, satisfied, and reaches for your hand again. His fingers lace through yours automatically.
The delivery arrives not long after, and you both dig in. Shinyu lets out a sigh of contentment. At ease. Like always, whenever he’s with you.

┈ Note ! ꞌꞋ ࣪ Hi, this is my first time writing something for TWS, and it's just that since I met them I'm a little obsessed. And it just came to my mind how they would be like when they are feeling clingy. And being very honest with you, like Shinyu biased, Dohoon's, Kyungmin and Hanjin have me completely blushing and kicking my feet.
I also want to clarify that English is not my first language, so there will probably be several typos or it will look very formal; an apology for that. Without further ado I hope you like it and have a nice night/day.

Shinyuㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤShin Junghwan !
Days off were rare.
More rare than Shinyu would like to admit.
There was always something: practices, meetings, recordings, schedules full of things to do.
But not today.
Today, by some perfect alignment of the stars, the group had the day off, and they were making the best possible use of it: doing absolutely nothing.
Just the seven of you, spread out in the living room, enjoying a quiet moment while deciding what to have for breakfast.
He was leaning back on one end of the couch, his phone in hand, flipping through the menu with the others. He was barely paying attention to the discussion of what to order. It was a din of mingled voices and banter thrown into the air. You were at the other end, lounging against the armrest, with a sleepy expression that made him smile without realizing it. The dim light of the room highlighted the contours of your face, and Shinyu found his gaze straying to you more times than necessary.
It wasn't unusual. It happened to him all the time.
The conversation flowed smoothly, until Jihoon asked you to help Shinyu confirm the final order.
Shinyu barely registered the request.
His attention was on you, on the way you gently sat up to reach over and take his phone. It was a simple, everyday movement even, but for him it was enough. As if his body acted before his mind, in a single, fluid motion he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you to him effortlessly, sinking you against his chest naturally.
The contact was warm. Your body fit over his as if you had always belonged there. There was no resistance on your part, only a small initial startle before you gradually settled against him. Shinyu felt an almost instinctive satisfaction run through his body as you rested your head on his chest, letting yourself fall completely on top of him.
Yes. That was better.
He loved this. He loved you.
-Mmm… it's good like this, isn't it? -you murmured, still checking the phone.
-Mhmm… -Shinyu barely answered, his voice distracted, too focused on you to pay attention to anything else.
You confirmed the order, and the others, satisfied, scattered around the room, each minding their own business while waiting for the food. But Shinyu had not the slightest intention of moving. Not when he had you like this, perfectly wedged against him.
He could feel the rhythm of your breathing becoming slower, more relaxed. The heat of your body against his was addictive.
With a relaxed motion, he reached out to take control when Dohoon challenged him to a game of Mario Kart. Perfect. He could play without thinking too much. He moved just enough to grab the controller, but not enough to alter the position you were in. If anything, his grip on your waist became tighter, making sure you didn't move too much. Kyungmin and Jihoon joined in right away, but even as the competition began and laughter filled the room, his mind wasn't quite on the game.
Sure, his reflexes were still good, his fingers pressed the buttons as nimbly as ever, but a large part of him was distracted.
How could he not be?
He had you lying completely on top of him, breathing softly against his chest, not complaining about his grip or the way he was holding you close. Without realizing it, his hand moved, his fingers tracing small circles on the fabric of your shirt. He wasn't sure if he was doing it to reassure you or himself. Maybe both.
And then you did.
Without warning, you moved just a little, seeking more comfort, fitting better against him. It was a small gesture, almost imperceptible, but Shinyu felt it as a direct blow to the heart. A shiver ran down his back as you made yourself even smaller in his embrace, as if you were exactly where you wanted to be.
Oh.
Oh.
Shinyu barely blinked, barely reacted. His character on the screen crashed into a wall and Dohoon let out a victorious laugh, but he didn't even flinch. He just looked down, watching you with a tenderness he had no right to display so openly. His attention was on the way his own heart began to beat a little faster.
It couldn't have been more obvious. He was completely lost for you.
He let out a slow sigh, one that was lost amidst the sound of the game and the voices in the room, but which inside him echoed like a silent surrender. Because deep down, there was no point in fooling himself anymore.
It was ridiculous how much he liked this. How much he liked you.
The game went on, the others laughed and complained about unfair plays, but to him, it was all background noise. He didn't need to say it out loud, but if it were up to Shinyu, the whole world could stop in that instant, and he wouldn't mind at all.
He just needed this moment. Just the simple fact of feeling you so close was enough.
Dohoonㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤKim Dohoon !
Mornings always had a different rhythm for Dohoon.
They were slow, sleepy, with the warmth of the sheets still clinging to his skin and the feeling of drowsiness weighing down his eyelids. Not because he was tired-though sometimes he was-but because in the mornings he wanted you close. Closer than was reasonable, closer than others would surely consider normal. And today, with a whole day off until evening, there was no reason to hold back.
He opened his eyes heavily and, before he even thought of getting out of bed, he noticed your absence. You were gone. He frowned, still drowsy, and without even thinking too much about it, he stood up. He didn't need to ask anyone where you were; his instinct led him straight to the kitchen.
And there you were.
Standing in front of the counter, opening the bags with the coffees and drinks the manager had ordered for everyone. The morning light filtered through the window, illuminating you in an almost unreal way. To Dohoon, who was not yet fully awake, the image was too pretty, too perfect.
Without much thought, he approached you silently, shuffling his feet with the laziness of someone not yet fully awake. And then, as soon as he was close enough, he wrapped his arms around your waist and dropped down against you, hiding his face in the crook of your neck.
God, it felt so good.
Your warmth, your smell, the way you fit perfectly against him as if you were a magnet he always ended up sticking to… Everything about you was addictive to him. He closed his eyes, gently inhaling the scent of your skin mixed with that of coffee, and smiled against your neck when he felt you wouldn't pull away. You didn't make the slightest effort to break free from his grip, you just went about your business, as if you were used to him clinging to you like a koala bear every morning.
And you were.
Gently, without opening his eyes, he rubbed his nose against your skin, taking deep breaths.
There was no way he could start the day without this.
He opened his eyes when he saw your hand move, bringing your latte to your lips. He watched intently, not moving an inch from his place on your neck, as you calmly took a sip. And then, without a word, you brought the straw close to his mouth in a gesture so natural that it made his heart beat faster.
Without hesitation, he caught the straw between his lips and took a sip straight from your drink, his eyes narrowing in pleasure at the sweet, warm taste of the latte. But more than the coffee itself, what he really enjoyed was the gesture itself.
The fact that you shared with him without thinking about it.
There was something intimate in the way you shared these little things. In how they didn't need words, in how you just knew what he wanted, in how he could be glued to you without seeming to make you uncomfortable.
God. How lucky he was.
He drank some more before releasing the straw and sinking back against you, this time squeezing you a little tighter, enveloping you with his body as if he wanted to become part of you.
Your soft laughter vibrated against his chest and, without warning, you caressed his face, your fingers sliding gently down his cheek, along his jaw, a light but loving touch. Dohoon closed his eyes at the sensation, letting himself be pampered, letting you do whatever you wanted with him, because he was already completely yours.
If it were up to him, he could stay like this all day.
But then, his stomach decided to betray him.
Dohoon pouted a little, stirring against you before muttering in a low, sleepy voice:
-I'm hungry…
You just smiled, amused, and barely moved to go get your phone, surely to order food for everyone. But Dohoon had no intention of letting go.
Like a koala clinging to his favorite tree, he stayed glued to you, following you wherever you went, his arms still around your waist, his body still against yours as you tried to open the ordering app.
It was ridiculous how easy it was for him to stay that way, entangled with you even when you were on the move.
-What do you want to eat? -You asked, looking at the screen of your phone.
Dohoon rested his chin on your shoulder, watching the screen lazily. But actually, he wasn't looking at the menu.
He was just looking at you.
Stunned, completely absorbed in the way your brow furrowed just barely as you chose the food, in the way your mouth curved subtly as you read the choices. You knew him well enough to know exactly what to ask him without him having to say anything, but you still asked, because you cared about his opinion.
And that, that was what finished disarming him completely.
He snuggled closer against you, closing his eyes for a moment and letting his weight rest against your body without fear that you would push him away. Because he knew you wouldn't. Because, like him, you enjoyed this too.
If the rest of the day was going to be like this, glued to you, feeling your warmth, sharing every little moment of the morning, then for Dohoon, this was already the best day off of all.
Youngjaeㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤChoi Youngjae !
The day had ended earlier than expected, but Youngjae was in no hurry to leave.
Not when he could seize a moment like this.
Not when you were there, so close, so… perfect for him.
The practice room was still illuminated in the soft afternoon light, and Jihoon, as always, had energy to spare to keep dancing, moving with enviable ease as he improvised steps in front of the mirror, and Youngjae… well, Youngjae was just tired. He watched out of the corner of his eye, amused by his dongsaeng's witticisms, but his mind was elsewhere.
Or, rather, on someone else.
You were there, leaning against the mirror, relaxed, not paying much attention to anything but Jihoon. Youngjae watched you silently for a few seconds, noticing the way your expression softened when you were deep in thought, how your lips curved into a smile when Jihoon did something silly. It was nothing serious, just fun. But Youngjae wasn't particularly interested in that right now.
The only thing he was interested in was you.
He didn't know how or why, but whenever you were around, he needed to find an excuse to be attached to you somehow.
And Youngjae, he wanted you close.
He didn't have a clear reason; he simply wanted you close.
Without a word, he came over and lay down on top of you, resting his head carefully on your lap.
The relief was immediate.
And, as if you were perfectly in sync with him, you lifted your arms a little to give him space, allowing him to settle in better. Youngjae wrapped his arms around your waist leisurely, breathing deeply against the fabric of your clothes, letting your warmth envelop him. He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the contact, the feeling of being close to you without needing to say anything.
Youngjae sighed softly, as he listened to Jihoon's laughter, so lively and full of energy. He could hear the jokes and the silly things he was doing; And he couldn't help but smile at the scene.
But even as he did so, his mind was still on you.
It wasn't more than a few seconds before he felt your hands move, instinctively moving down to his hair. And there it was, that gesture he so adored. The brush of your fingers through her locks, the light pressure of your nails against her scalp, the slow, steady rhythm that made every muscle in her body relax little by little.
Yes. Just like that.
It was almost ridiculous how much he enjoyed this. The way your fingers ran through his hair as naturally as you breathed, in how your nails gently grazed his scalp, sending little shivers of pleasure down his back. Each caress was like a silent confirmation that he had every right in the world to be here, glued to you, claiming your attention without needing to ask for it.
He opened his eyes just a little, just enough to see you laughing at some nonsense of Jihoon's; moving in an exaggerated way just to make you smile, and Youngjae felt a pang of tenderness in his chest to see you like that.
God, he adored your laugh.
He couldn't see you completely from his position, but he could feel your laughter in the subtle vibration of your body against him. But he didn't have the energy to join in the antics at that moment. Not when he was so comfortable, not when your fingers kept sliding through his hair with a gentleness that made him sink deeper and deeper into the sensation of being with you.
He didn't need you to do anything else.
He wasn't thinking about anything else, just that.
About how it felt when he held you close, when he felt your body so close to his. All he could think about was the warmth of your body under his head, the softness of your fingers sliding through his hair, how each caress felt like a gesture of affection that he didn't ask for, but needed.
It was that feeling, that simple, genuine attention, that had him completely spellbound.
And, for an instant, he thought that maybe, if he could, he would stay that way forever.
He didn't want to move.
He didn't want that moment to end.
And best of all, you weren't even making him uncomfortable about it. You liked it. It was like a kind of silent language that only the two of you shared: you taking care of him without thinking about it, him soaking up the comfort of your company.
And he enjoyed every second of it.
But, of course, something told him that eventually he would have to get up, that Jihoon would stop his madness and the rest of the group would return to the dormitories. For now, though, as you gently caressed him, as his mind completely melted away in that warmth that only you provided, everything seemed perfect just the way it was.
It is perfect.
Hanjinㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤHan Zhen !
The dorm was quiet, an unusual tranquility after days filled with practices and tight schedules. Everyone was scattered around the apartment, each doing their own thing, taking advantage of the rare free time. Hanjin, however, only had his attention on one thing - or, rather, one person.
You.
You were sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall, with his Korean book open between you.
Technically, he was studying.
Technically, you were helping him.
But in reality, Hanjin was just enjoying the perfect excuse to have you around.
At first, everything had been normal. You were correcting his pronunciation, patiently explaining grammatical structures, and he was nodding, making the effort to repeat them correctly. But honestly, he was having a hard time. Not because he didn't want to learn, but because his attention was elsewhere.
On you.
In the way you spoke patiently, explaining every detail with that sweetness that disarmed him. In how your voice sounded so natural when you explained to him in Mandarin so that he would understand better the meaning of the words, so comfortable, so you. In the closeness between you, in the warmth of your body next to his, in how easy it was to be with you like that.
As the lesson progressed, Hanjin felt more and more… comfortable.
Almost too comfortable.
Everything about you had him completely caught up.
At some point in the lesson - without even thinking too much about it - he reached out and pulled you to his side, drawing you in as easily as he breathed.
You said nothing. You just let yourself go, settling against him without complaint or question. As if this kind of contact was something as natural as the air between you.
Hanjin liked that.
He felt comfortable with you.
He liked how easy it was to touch you, how easy it was to envelop you with his presence without you pushing him away. He rested his head against your shoulder at one point, feeling the warmth of your skin, the rhythm of your breathing, the simple fact of having you there.
Your warmth, your familiar scent… It was so easy. It was so easy that he almost forgot they were still studying.
And then, he felt your hand move.
Your fingers gently ran through his hair, a brief touch but enough to make him feel that you were there, acknowledging his presence, responding to his need for contact without him having to ask for it.
Such a simple gesture.
But as your hand ran through his hair, Hanjin seemed to have no intention of letting go. On the contrary, he pulled you to him more tightly, pressing you even tighter against his side. A shiver ran down his back, he liked it too much when you did that.
But then, you broke the balance of the moment with a few words.
-我去拿点吃的,我们休息一下吧 - (I'm going to go get a snack, let's get some rest).
No.
Before you could even move, his body reacted on its own. His arms around your waist tightened subtly, drawing you back effortlessly. He needed no words, only the weight of his grip, refusing to let go, as if letting you go was simply an unacceptable option.
You looked down at him with amusement. Hanjin noticed it. He noticed it in the way your lips curved just barely, in the mischievous light in your eyes, as if you were waiting for him to say something else.
And he did.
-不要,待在这儿 - (No, stay here.)
His voice was low, almost a whisper against your skin. The way he said those words, his tone soft but firm, made your heart beat a little faster.
And you… you couldn't resist.
He smiled without another word, enjoying the way you settled back in next to him.
He wasn't one to ask for things with grandiose words. He wasn't usually pushy about what he wanted. But with you, everything was different. With you, he had the luxury of being a little more selfish, of wanting more than he normally allowed himself.
And Hanjin knew what he wanted, and it was simple: he wanted to stay that way, glued to you.
-好吧 - (It's okay.)
You whispered with a smile, surrendering easily to his grip.
He didn't have to say much for you to understand.
Because, in the end, you wanted to stay that way too.
Jihoonㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤHan Jihoon !
After weeks of work without a break, the arrival of this rare day off had given Jihoon a much-needed respite.
He emerged from the bathroom with his hair still damp, feeling the warmth of the shower still clinging to his skin. The hot water had relaxed his muscles, but it had also left him with a drowsiness he could barely conceal. His eyelids drooped slightly as he toweled his hair dry, but as soon as he looked up and saw you in his bed, all the heaviness seemed to fade for a moment.
You were lying there, laughing at something Dohoon had said from the other bed. Your voice, your laughter, the mere sight of you there made Jihoon feel a tug in his chest.
The scene was so domestic, so quiet… That his mind had only one clear thought….
He wanted to be there with you.
He didn't think about it too much. In fact, he didn't think at all.
With lazy steps, he crossed the room and, without warning, dropped his full weight on you. Not gently, not with any warning, just with the full weight of his body, as if you were a pillow made exclusively for him.
The air left your lungs in a surprised gasp, followed by a burst of laughter as you tried, unsuccessfully, to protest between guffaws, but that only made him smile against the fabric of your clothes.
It didn't bother you at all, and he knew it.
-Jihoon -you said, your voice cracking -You're too heavy, get off! -you finished with a chuckle, patting him gently on the back. But he didn't move.
Not immediately, at least.
He just got more comfortable.
-No -he murmured in a sleepy voice, letting his arm wrap lazily around your waist, making sure you weren't going to slip away.
Dohoon, from his bed, chuckled as well, surely enjoying the scene, but Jihoon was already too comfortable to pay attention to you. His attention was completely on you, on how your breathing was still agitated by the laughter, on how your body was slowly relaxing under his. He could feel the steady beat of your heart under his cheek, a rhythmic, comforting sound that made his own eyelids feel heavier, plus the way that, despite your playful complaints, you made no real effort to push him away.
Jihoon sighed against your skin, completely content with the position he was in.
And just as you knew would happen, you ended up surrendering with a sigh and, without thinking too much about it, started playing with his damp hair.
If he wasn't so tired, he probably would have smiled self-satisfiedly. But instead, he just closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh, completely surrendered to the gesture.
God.
It was his weakness.
He didn't need words, he didn't need anything else. Just your hand in his hair, the gentle rhythm of your caresses and the sound of your voice returning to the conversation with Dohoon as if you didn't have a whole human being lying on top of you.
He enjoyed this very much.
But he couldn't fall asleep.
He forced himself to open his eyes, though his sight was a blur of shadows and warm lights in the room. He didn't want to surrender to sleep so quickly. Not when he could stretch this moment out a little longer.
He heard your voice conversing with Dohoon, though the words became a distant echo, a soft melody that cradled him unwillingly. He felt your laughter vibrate against his chest, your breathing slow as you continued to play with his hair.
He blinked slowly, clinging to the feel of your touch, the sound of your voice, the way your body molded to his.
But it was useless.
As exhaustion overtook him more, his breathing grew heavier, slower. Every caress on his hair dragged him deeper into drowsiness, every brush of your fingers made his body feel heavier, more relaxed. He wanted to protest, to tell you to stop, that if you kept this up he was going to fall asleep on you, but all that came out of his mouth was an incoherent mumble.
And then, without being able to help it, his eyelids gave way.
His breathing slowed, his body completely surrendered against yours. In the last moment before he fell asleep, he felt the brush of your lips on his forehead - soft, fleeting, like a whisper that carried away any attempt at struggle.
He lost.
But if falling asleep meant being like this, glued to you, with your warmth enveloping him and your fingers in his hair… then maybe losing wasn't so bad after all.
Kyungminㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤLee Kyungmin !
Kyungmin couldn't sleep.
The rented house was completely silent. Well, not complete silence-the sound of his hyungs' leisurely breathing, mixed with the occasional murmur of Jihoon moving in his sleep, reminded him that he was trapped in a confined space with three other people.
And that was the problem.
Dohoon, Hanjin, and Jihoon, in their infinite trust, had decided that it didn't matter that the bed was clearly for one or two people at most -they would sleep there anyway.
And they had done so without any respect for the concept of “personal space.”
There was no space. Not a shred of it.
He stirred for the umpteenth time between the bodies of Jihoon, Dohoon, and Hanjin, trapped in a ridiculously small space in the bed they shared. It had been fun at first, pushing and shoving, teasing and laughing until they were all completely exhausted. But now, with Dohoon glued to the other end of the bed, Jihoon completely unconscious, one arm draped over his stomach and Hanjin wedged next to him, Kyungmin could only think of how uncomfortable the situation was.
Four people on a single mattress had never been a good idea.
And he definitely wasn't going to survive the night like this.
With slow, careful movements, he managed to slip out of the tangle of bodies without waking them. His feet touched the cold floor, and he felt a shiver run down his back as he finally stretched.
He needed air.
Space.
Something.
He ran a hand through his hair, tousling it even more than it already was, and without much thought, he left the room, dodging the creaking of the wood beneath his feet.
His steps were silent as he walked down the dimly lit hallway, his eyes still half closed from sleep as he made his way to the one room he knew he could get a good night's rest in.
Your room. Your room was the biggest room in the house, the prize for winning the chaotic game of deciding rooms.
And besides, it had become a habit. Every night, after everyone had retired, he used to come into your room, cuddle with you for a while, and then go to his. It was his little ritual. One that had started unintentionally and eventually became a sort of silent habit between you.
He hesitated a moment before knocking, but the sound was soft, almost shy. In the silence of the early morning, it felt louder than expected.
A small silence and then your sleepy voice from within:
-Come in…
Kyungmin opened the door cautiously and peeked out, finding you sitting up in bed, rubbing your eyes with one hand. Despite how sleepy you were, a smile appeared on your face as soon as you saw him. He felt your chest tighten warmly.
Without a word, he looked at you with deer eyes, silently hoping you would understand his motive.
And, as always, you did.
He didn't even have to explain.
Without saying anything, you made a small gesture with your hand, inviting him to come closer, and he didn't think twice about it.
He closed the door behind him and crossed the room with silent steps before slipping under the sheets beside you. The mattress was big, roomy, but as soon as he got into bed, he glued himself to you without thinking. His face hid in the hollow of your neck, his arms relaxed around you, and as soon as he felt the warmth of your skin and the leisurely rhythm of your breathing, his body loosened completely.
This.
This was what he had been looking for.
One arm of his fell lazily around your waist, and when he felt your chin rest gently on his head, he knew there was no turning back.
It was too comfortable.
Your hand slid down to his hair, stroking it in slow, gentle movements, and he instantly closed his eyes, enjoying every second of that gesture. He bit his lip to keep from smiling too much. There was no way his hyungs wouldn't tease him in the morning when they found him here, but honestly… he didn't care.
They would surely provoke him and make him blush with their teasing, but he didn't mind at all.
If the price of sleeping comfy and warm with you was putting up with their teasing… then so be it.

There, where you see Shinyu, smart, composed with a leader's manner… he’s the biggest fan of cuddles. As he is always the one in charge of looking after the members as if he were a single parent, when he arrives home, the only thing he wants to do is lie down on the bed and hug you like a koala, never letting go. It’s like his guilty pleasure.
When he’s tired from work, he showers and changes, and the next thing you'd know is he’d be already hugging you as if you were going to disappear in any second. Even hide his head in your chest, and wait for you to pat his head and play with his hair.
“Pretty please?” He’d say with his puppy eyes, and you, with a chuckle, would start caressing his hair. The second you’d place your hand on his head, he’d sigh, and all the tiredness would fade away slowly into a sweet smile. That’s how relaxing it was being with you.
Shinyu isn’t the type of guy who gets jealous fast, but when he does, he’ll pout and come to you, frowning, and ask why you talked with that person instead of hugging him. Then, you two would spend the next whole twenty minutes cuddling and laughing at stupid fish jokes Shinyu had come up with for the day (he, surprisingly, had new ones every day).
Shinyu’d just crave your attention all day, wanting to stay glued to you, but would always know when to stop (like when you are starting to get overwhelmed). He’s very perceptive; that might be why.
In front of others, he’s the composed big guy with a macho phase, but with you he’s just a cute tired boy who weighs more than he’d want to. (Although the macho phase is still there, as he still insists on showing you his muscles from time to time hehe).
Because with you, he’s not Shinyu from TWS; he’s just Shin Junghwan. The boy you love. And the boy who loves you back.
(Just to mention, the rest of the members were pretty shocked the first time they saw Shinyu hug you instantly as soon as he saw you arrive at the practice room. He was sweating, but you didn’t care and hugged him back, which left all of them with their mouths wide open. How could Shinyu have found a girlfriend so quickly? “Top 5 experiences in my life,” said Kyungmin later, with his eyes widened).

He’s the biggest idiot for you. I have no proof but no doubts either. Big smile every time he sees you.
From day one, he’d be close to you. But like, so close to you. I have to say, Dohoon and Jihoon might be the ones who show their clingy manner the most. He’d never let you go and would always be touching you.
Every day, as soon as he sees you, you’d get a hug, a kiss and a sweet smile. Maybe he’d even take your hand and wander around with you.
Dohoon is one of shyest members at first, but once he feels comfortable with the environment (because with you he always is) will begin to show how clingy he is for you and your attention. He’d hug you from behind, give you sweet kisses while you laugh, and hold your hand as long as possible with a wide smile on his face.
(Yes, you both have traumatised the whole group with your clinginess. “Top 5 experiences I don’t want to see ever again,” said Shinyu).
“Yaaah, why did that girl flirt with me? Haven’t she seen I’m literally yours?” Kind of man.
He loves to remind you that you are the best person he has ever met and that he’d wish to be with you for a long, long, long time. All this while, he hides his face in your arms and feels like he can breathe again.
Always looking for an excuse for you to give him attention.
He’d also love to watch horror movies with you (even if we all agree he hates them) just so he could hold your hand and cling to you for two whole hours. Bonus points if it is so scary he just has to sleep with you and hug you all night long because he’s scared.
ִֶָ🪽་༘࿐ choi youngjae
youngjae'd be the one who loves quietly, and even when he's clingy, he's not too loud about it. He's more of a guy who keeps these little sweet moments for just the two of you.
It would take some time for him to get used to all the cuddles you'd give him, but sooner rather than later, he'd become so used to having you close as if it were as normal as breathing.
When you aren't alone, he will naturally come up to you. He does not need to touch you too intensely. However, when he’s sure no one is watching, he'd hold your hand, maybe intertwine your fingers, and smile like a child on Christmas. Those small things made him feel so happy.
When no one is watching, though… he's literally onto you. Every. Single. Time. He’d wrap his arms around you and kiss your face as if his life depended on it. He’d tell you how much he had missed you (even if you’d seen each other like five minutes ago) and look you in the eyes with his big, round eyes and smile at you like the happiest boy on Earth.
Whenever he gets jealous, he won’t confront the guy or girl; he would just get close to you, maybe even lie a little bit on your shoulder, and place his hand on your hip. Maybe then smile like a guy who hasn’t killed a fly in his life, but in some way meaning you are his, in some way.
And when he’s tired after a long time, resting his head on your shoulder, wrapping his arms around your hips, and taking a deep breath would always help him recharge. As if you had the cure to his tiredness. “Thank you.” He’d mutter afterward. “Thank you for being with me”
Because Youngjae might not be that of a touchy guy, but he sure is a wordy guy. He’s the kind of guy who will always be for you. Even when you don’t sense him.
(Between, you sure will be the members’ fav couple. They just love seeing their Youngjae as happy as he is with you ♡).
ִֶָ🪽་༘࿐ han zhen
Hanjin isn’t really the type of boy who hugs and never lets go. He was the type of guy who swore he’d never be that clingy with his partner once he met them. Or that was, at least, until he met you. And suddenly, cuddling was his favorite thing in the whole world.
He’d do everything he could to make you happy; let you put clips in his hair, put makeup on his face… he’d always be there to give you anything you needed (even if you still didn’t know you needed it). But when it’s his time to just be there with you, he’d forget all the bad that occurred that day and just lean his head on your shoulder while watching a movie, feeling like he had just gotten back to life.
Movie nights with him only meant one thing: he’d be clingy with you all night long. He’d let you rest your head in his lap and play with your hair while the main characters were having fun in their universe. Or if the story was sad, he would snuggle up with you and cry right by your side.
I don’t think he’s that open about being clingy in public though, but he has other ways to show you his love. He's not that good with words; he’s still learning new things every day, after all, but with acts… he was the real star. The way he always checks up on you, asks if you have already eaten, makes sure your diet is balanced, and always asks you if you have slept well was what made you feel loved those days you couldn’t be together.
He’s the type of man who writes the cheesiest letters for you and then acts as if nothing happened, giving you a soft smile.
Holding hands would be his ultimate goal; I don’t have proof, but no doubts either. There’s a thing so intimate in just holding hands, in knowing someone is there with you just by feeling them. He didn’t need kisses. Neither did he need hugs, even if they were very, very welcome. He just needed your hand. He just needed you to be there with him. That was enough.
Hanjin’d be the best gossiper in the group, but, surprisingly, the members wouldn’t find out about you two until much later than expected. They’ll have to admit it was pretty unexpected (or that’s what Jihoon said, because Youngjae had it clear the moment he saw Hanjin entering through the doorway with a big, big smile and sparkling eyes. He had to totally meet someone), but they loved to see Hanjin happy, so they couldn’t be more excited about it.
He’s just happy to have met you, so he tells you every time he can. It’s like his duty now hshs.
ִֶָ🪽་༘࿐ han jihoon
Jihoon would always be glued to you. And by ‘glued’ I mean he’d be literally next to you every time he could. In fact, if you are in the room and he’s not right by your side, he might get a bit annoyed and start pouting at whoever doesn't let him be there. (He’s so cute either way)
He's the biggest hugger. Jihoon’d love to wrap his arms around you and rest his chin on your head. It doesn’t matter when or where you are. He just needs to feel you there. Maybe even tease you a little bit. His hugs are soft, sweet, and at most times carry a warm message, a feeling. A silent “I’m here”. I just know his hugs would make you feel better. And he loves to give them, too.
When dancing, even if he’s too caught up in the music, he’d eventually come next to you. Maybe do weird things such as passing his head through your legs and resting his head in your lap while still doing footwork. He is just the randomest boy ever, but that would just make you smile. He just likes to be close to you.
And speaking of dancing… he’s the type of guy who would love to have you in his arms while spinning around. Maybe you end up on the floor. But at least he’s with you, laughing and having fun.
Jihoon has a huge oppa disease, and whenever he’s needy, he’d joke about it with hopes of you calling him oppa one moment. You always shook your head- not a fan of the term- but the few times you’d called him that, his eyes would light up, and he would not let go for the next few hours. (And beg you to say it again).
He’s the type to get jealous easily, but in a cute way. He’s still a cute drama queen, after all. He would get closer, give you a hug, and ask with a pouty voice why that person was so close to you. “Didn’t they notice me next to you?” He’d ask, frowning. If a glare could provoke death, they would be dead by then. You would just laugh at moments like that, because Jihoon would seem more like a baby who had his favorite candy stolen than a grown-up man ><.
Some members will be a bit envious of your relationship, but others will wonder about how you stand him all the time. Kyungmin asked you once, really curious, and you just replied: “he’s cute, and you get used to it. Even begin to love him with his clingy manners!” shrugging, smiling, and joking a bit. Truth is, you loved hugs. And you certainly loved Jihoon. (Kyungmin didn’t believe you at all).
ִֶָ🪽་༘࿐ lee kyungmin
“Noona nomu yeppo” 😳 (okay no-). I think Kyungmin isn’t one of the clingiest members, but he does love to spend time with you and be close to you, even if he's a little bit shy when it comes to this. Maybe because he's relatively young, or maybe because he's not used to giving cuddles himself. (He does love to be the one receiving them, though).
At first, he’d shyly start holding your hand, blushing and looking the other way every time he did it. You liked to tease him like that, holding his hand out of nowhere and just smiling at his reddish face.
The kisses would have their act of presence later. The first time came on a quiet night, looking at the stars, he leaned closer, as nervous as he could be, and gave you a quick kiss on your cheek. You left a sweet chuckle that time; he was just too cute for his own good. Then, you pulled him closer and put your lips against his. Just a tiny little moment, but it meant the whole world. No need to say Kyungmin turned into a small tomato.
Ever since then, Kyungmin found his comfort place in your shoulders, on your chest (where he could sleep), and especially on your kisses.
Kyungmin’d be the biggest loser for kisses. He’d love to give you small kisses from time to time, brushing his nose against you and letting go of a small “chuu” every time he kissed your cheek, letting himself act either as a big boy or a baby when he’s around you.
Could be wrong, but I think Kyungmin is the type of boy who gets jealous easily. Whenever someone is talking too close to you, smiling too much, or just when he senses you are feeling uncomfortable, he’d come right by your side and put his hand on your shoulder. Maybe even give you a quick kiss and casually let go of a “hey, baby” so the guy understands what he’s implying. Kyungmin tries to look stronger or even just older sometimes, too, to “intimidate his opponents”. But for you, he was just the cutest person on earth.
And members' reaction? Well, for them, you are just too cute to be true. “Children grow up so fast,” they’ll mutter dramatically, while Kyungmin squeezes your hand and you chuckle, blushing softly.
synopsis: you’ve been constantly professing your love to your childhood friend ever since you were 12. you weren’t expecting anything but the usual rejection, but maybe some things don’t always stay the same…
word count: 2.0k
a/n: i hope u enjoy! <3
You and Shinyu have been inseparable since you were kids.
Well, in your mind, anyway.
You’ve been adamantly professing your undying love for him since you were at the ripe age of 12.
You know, adult activities and all.
At first, he rejected you every time.
A little awkward, a little inexperienced but unmistakably firm.
But as time went on, rejection grew harder to administer, and Shinyu couldn’t tell if it was because you grew more annoyingly persistent as you aged, or if he was simply too used to you.
One thing he did know is that he loved to see you smile, even if it was when you were deliberately riling him up or when you deemed yourself more capable than you actually were.
That bright innocent smile that made his breath hitch each time.
He convinced himself it was due to allergies, but his heart argued otherwise. Not that you needed to know that.
Today, you were seated on the grassy plane of the community park. You found a perfect spot. Top of the small slope, in the way of the wind’s trajectory, overlooking the smaller section made for children half your age.
Your fingers plucked a petal.
“He loves me,”
Then another.
“He loves me more.”
You continued the process until a small girl on her way to the children’s park, no older than 8 years of age, ran past you whilst yelling you were doing it wrong.
You ignored her and plucked another petal from the daisy.
“He loves me,”
Pluck.
“He loves me more…”
You stared at the bald flower, registering the result.
Gasping quietly, you sprang up on your feet, flower still in hand. A victorious grin stretched on your face as you lifted the stalk of the daisy like it a was trophy.
“Yes! I knew it!”
“Knew what?”
“Ah!” You startled, falling to the ground like a withered plant. Shinyu’s kind eyes peered down at you in mild curiosity, a calm expression on his face.
“You—you scared me!” You placed a hand on your chest, puffing a load of air out of your cheeks.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to surprise you.” He said lowly, beginning to approach your sprawled form on the grass.
He crouched close to you, revealing the white shopping bag he was clutching.
“I got us some juice and jellies. You said you were craving some earlier.”
He pulled the items out of the bag with ease and you just continued to monitor him from your spot.
Gosh, he had this weird ability of making the simplest things look attractive.
Ugh, life wasn’t fair.
And as if the Earth heard your lament, the wind blew past the both of you, gently shifting Shinyu’s light bangs and exposing just a touch of his forehead.
Then it hit you too, throwing your hair completely out of place and making you look like you were just finished fighting an unknown entity.
The favouritism was beyond ridiculous.
The bright sound of Shinyu’s laughter carried past your eardrums. His hands covering half his face as he attempted to appear unaffected, but your glaring face was making it hard not to react.
You huffed in frustration, diligently accepting the juice carton he gave you.
“So,” he started, voice at the usual calm decibel he always used when speaking to you. “what is it that you knew?”
He poked a hole in the juice box with his straw, softly bringing his lips to it. His eyes slid to capture yours, a sign to show he was listening attentively. As always.
You sucked on your own straw intensely, purposefully avoiding his eye contact.
This time, you chose to act oblivious.
It’s always been the same anyway.
You confess, he outright rejects you. Sometimes you can’t help but wonder how this one sided chase had gone on for so long.
The spark in your eyes dimmed by a fraction.
Maybe it was time to move on. After all, one day he was going to end up finding the person that made his heart flutter. The person that lit up his winter nights with warm smiles and his scalding summers with refreshing laughter.
One day… Shinyu would no longer be there anymore. With you. Casually conversing at the park.
Taking a dramatic and dragged out sigh, you slowly shook your head, the wind rustling through your strands.
“Nothing.”
Shinyu’s eyes remained on you. An uneasy feeling churned in his stomach.
You’ve never answered like that before. You’ve never kept to yourself when it came to him. You’d always speak your mind no matter how controversial your thoughts were. It was practically his first time hearing you say the word “nothing” as a response.
His lips tugged to the side.
“Are you sure?”
The smoothness of his voice stirred your heartstrings and you nearly gave in in less than a second.
Gosh darn it, he’s good! A master of persuasion!
(No, you’re just really whipped.)
You bit your lip, then dug your hand into the bag of jellies, purposefully filling your mouth with the sweets.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s totally nothing.” You manage to mumble out, mouth still full.
He looked at you.
You could feel yourself growing warm, and it wasn’t the change in the weather.
Waving your arms in front of you to hide yourself, you gently took a hold of his face, manually turning it away from you.
A teasing smile threatened to find his lips. One corner had already began lifting upwards.
He turned to you again.
You turned him back.
A breathy chuckle escaped him.
“If you don’t want me to stare at you all day, tell me what it was you were thinking.”
You relented, shoving another handful of sweets in your cheeks.
He sighed, continuing his stare.
“I feel like there’s been this awkward boundary recently… with us, I mean.”
You continued chewing, eyes focused on the kids playing on the swings far ahead.
“Don’t you feel it too?” He questioned you lightly, bringing his face right next to yours.
You choked on the sweets.
What’s worse was that you couldn’t even die in peace. Shinyu laughed at you quite loudly, but he still had to the decency to pat your back.
The same traits you had fallen for when you were 12.
“Dang it…” you coughed out to yourself.
“You okay?”
You nodded, shooing his hand away.
To help you recover, you went for a sip of your juice box.
“Speaking of, it’s been a while since you’ve confessed to me.”
You choked again.
Nearly spitting your juice out, you glared at him, swallowing harshly.
He shrugged, looking at you with those big, shiny eyes, like he didn’t just purposefully try to end you twice.
Wiping the corner of your lips with your sleeve, you exhaled softly through your nose. Your eyes once again trained on the playground below.
“I think I’m done playing around.”
The wind gently picked up, it’s breeze caressing your skin.
Shinyu went quiet.
Then, almost hesitantly, he asked.
“What do you mean?”
You stayed silent for a long time. Pondering over your shared memories.
Were you just being delusional?
Were you just purposefully sticking by his side to delay the inevitable?
The sound of shuffling at your side.
You lazily veered your attention to find he had moved a tad bit closer.
You raised a brow.
“Well, if you’re not going to do it,” he nervously looked to the side before finding you eyes again. An unfamiliar sense of determination. “I will.”
You blinked.
“Huh?”
“I like you.”
The wind picked up again, like it was trying to carry the confession away from you before you could grasp it and never let go.
Your stare lingered. Shocked orbs completely absorbed in his dark ones. Lips gaping like a fish out of water.
“Wh-what?”
“I like you.” He repeated firmly. That familiar resolve that you were so used to hearing with the opposite kind of words.
A disbelieved sound left your throat.
“You…like me.”
“I like you.”
“How?”
At your response, Shinyu hesitated.
He wasn’t expecting that kind of reaction.
Was he too late?
Had you already moved on?
He bit his lips. Slowly playing with his slender fingers. His adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed down his nerves.
“I’m sorry that I made it hard for you.” He whispered.
“I was just… scared.”
“When did you…”
“At 16 I pretty much knew.”
You gaped at him.
“You had me confessing to you for this long?!”
“I’m sorry!”
“Are you kidding me?!”
“I don’t think I am?!”
You ran your hands down your face.
“Oh my gosh, my poor young heart.”
He bowed his head in shame.
“Shinyu?”
His gaze rose to meet yours in a rush.
“Yeah?”
“You’re an idiot.”
And with that, you launched yourself at him.
“Wait—”
Throwing your hands around his large build with a bit too much force, the both tumbled off the edge rolling down the small hill, unintentionally.
“Oh no—”
Instinctively, his hand went to shield your head.
“Oof!”
By the end of it, you were on top of him, releasing a painful groan. Your two squished bodies now at the foot of the hill.
“And you called me the idiot.”
Your eyes narrowed at him.
“Shut up.”
His arms remained wrapped firmly around you. A comforting shield.
“Don’t you usually say I need to talk more—”
You were so close that when you tried to get off of him, your lips gently brushed against his own.
He froze.
A short breath escaped him, eyes slowly trickling down to your lips.
Your own breath hitched, watching him revel in the brief feeling of your lips on his.
Leaning forward, Shinyu went for the close—
“Mommy! Why are there two people kissing?!”
You separated with urgency.
Immediately creating a 50 metre gap between you.
You dusted off the small traces of grass on your clothes. Shinyu awkwardly coughed into his hands, then stretched his back like he was actually just exercising all along.
The little boy that witnessed the whole ordeal quickly fled the scene, you mentally cursed, watching his little body scurry off to his mom.
You deadpanned.
“So uh,”
Shinyu spoke from afar, his voice raised so you could hear him.
He pointed to a random direction.
“Wanna go for a walk?”
“Yup!”
You both ran up the hill to collect your snacks.
“Let’s pretend no one saw that.” You whispered as you grabbed your empty juice box.
“Agreed.” He held the rest of the stuff.
You started to walk up ahead before a gentle hand gripped yours.
Shinyu looked at you for a split second, his eyes averting to the trees up ahead.
“Um, you don’t have to answer now but—”
You slapped a hand across your mouth.
“Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry! I completely forgot to say it!” You squeezed his hand in yours.
“My answer never changed,” you fully turned to him, briefly letting go of his hand.
“I like you, Shinyu! Please go out with me!”
The exact same phrase.
The exact same tone.
To the exact same target.
Some things never changed.
Shinyu found your outstretched arm, watching how you presented your empty juice box instead of the usual daisies you would offer him during each confession.
He snorted, releasing a small chuckle.
Taking your hand back in his, he held it up to his cheek, his eyes melting into yours.
“It’s the first time someone’s confessed to me with an empty juice box. I think my heart just fluttered.”
You grinned.
“I’d be honoured to be yours.”
He finally said yes.
12 year old you would probably be foaming at the mouth if she saw this.
He took a step forward. “Does that mean I get to properly kiss you now?”
You couldn’t even reply if you wanted to. Soft and fluffy, the taste of sugared candy and fruity drinks. His lips met yours with a long awaited harmony of unspoken feelings.
You could feel his warmth when you pulled away. His forehead against yours.
Short and cozy.
“Mommy! Look! Look! They’re doing the smoochies!”
Oh, for crying out loud!
You turned to each other, both already planning an escape route.
“My place?”
“Your place.”
And with that, the two of you ran away, hand in hand, giggling like little children. Your radiant smile brightening up his spring skies.

melon notes!
thank you for reading my first story published under my blog! i wrote this at like 12am so it might not be the best but i hope you enjoy it! thank you:)
shinyu
honestly since he’s the oldest + the leader of the group, he’d definitely be quite mature about the whole situation and immediately know what to do to help you feel calmer. he would give you head pats, cuddles, small kisses on your face. if you say that you’re craving bubble tea, he’s already out the door getting it for you. if you say that you’re hungry, the apron’s already on. i think that if you said you wanted to eat chocolate fondue he would actually get some for you with marshmallows and strawberries. overall he’ll just be giving really husband material vibes if you know what i mean!
dohoon
i have a feeling that dohoon would try to make you smile or laugh by doing funny things or give you aegyo services (he’s the master at it) because he knows how much you love it. he would probably also try his best to distract you from whatever was stressing you out by maybe turning on your favourite show on netflix while cuddling under a blanket on the sofa, occasionally giving forehead kisses just to remind you that he’s there. he’s ready with all your favourite snacks and does his best to make you feel comfortable. when you’re going to go to bed, he would sing you some comforting ballads to soothe and ease you, making you fall asleep easily in peace.
youngjae
unlike shinyu and dohoon, i think that youngjae would definitely be a listener. he would cuddle up on the sofa with you under a blanket and hear you open up about the shitty boss at work. he is more than happy to be a listening ear for you, and is definitely grateful that you were willing to open up about these things to him. however, if you didn’t really want to talk about it, he wouldn’t try to pry much into it unless you bring it up again. he will let you do anything and everything that you wanted to. he would give many words of affirmation telling you that you were doing great and that it’s okay to be stressed. at the end of the day he would probably give you many hugs and small kisses!
hanjin
i am 100% sure that if you were complaining about your boss to him, he would add fuel to the fire and start shit-talking him too. he would give all the insults saying how badly your boss is treating you and seeing you smile at the end of it makes him feel really proud of himself. if you come home absolutely drained, he would give you a big comforting embrace and hold you there for at least ten minutes just to make you feel better. hanjin would also give you head pats, tie your hair all nicely and pretty for you or give you his hoodie to wear since he knows that it’s your favourite thing in the world. he would shower you with all his love and attention for the rest of the day.
jihoon
he would probably have ambushed you at the door and seeing you in an absolutely drained state, he would immediately engulf you between his arms and hug you really tightly. rather than showering you with his kisses like he usually does, he would pat your head, telling you how well you’re doing and silently wipe away any tears that fell from your eyes. if he was dancing, he would immediately stop and not dance for the rest of the day just so he could give you his fullest attention and all his love to make you feel better. if it makes you laugh, he would gladly do funny dances with his tutting techniques or tell you about how kyungmin had fell down during dance practise when no one was looking and got back up like nothing had happened and how his face was really red.
kyungmin
he would probably try his best to cheer you up by making silly comments or telling you funny things that happened during dance practice to get a good and slight laugh out of you. kyungmin would also stick around you the whole time to make sure that you feel his presence. when he asks you if you’re fine and you reply “i’m fine” even though you are clearly not, he wouldn’t press further but rather show that he loves and cares through his actions like cooking your favourite meal, or even turning on music that will help you relax. he would give anything just to see you smile and laugh like you always do.

you woke up with what felt like, and most likely was, hundreds of text messages on your phone.
you were expecting them to be from your boyfriend, shinyu, as it was his day off and the two of you had planned a relaxing, simple date together. as in, you go over to his dorm and play video games on his switch with him. that was the ideal with shinyu anyways.
the notifications on your phone begged to differ, though, as they were not from shinyu, but his bandmates instead.
DOHOON 💬
yn shinyu hyung isnt feeling well he told me to text u
he says in a groggy voice, “im sorry yn..”
KYUNGMIN 💬
shinyu says he’ll have to cancel your date :(( he doesn’t want to get you sick
and oh is he SICK alright! that guy was throwing up!
you roughly rubbed your eyes after reading the messages. frowning out of concern, you wrote out a message to dohoon.
read under the cut!
YN 💬
oh no hwannie
ill be there in 30. what symptoms does he have? ill get medicine.
dohoon responds quickly.
DOHOON 💬
nono shinyu hyung said not to come
you groaned at your boyfriend’s stubbornness.
YN 💬
dohoon i’m heading over there. what are his symptoms.
you put your phone down to get ready, knowing that you’re going to visit shinyu no matter his member’s response.
after you’re done and all set, you pick your phone back up and read the most recent message from dohoon.
DOHOON 💬
fever, body aches, and a small cough. he threw up a few times earlier too..
you sighed, making sure you had everything before exiting your apartment.
୨♡୧ ৎㅤִ ⎯⎯ ✦
you stood at the front door of tws’ dorm, hitting two gentle knocks on it.
the door creaks open—creepily.. almost—to the dim apartment. there stands jihoon.
he whispers, “hi yn. keep it low if you can since shinyu hyung doesn’t know you’re coming.”
you internally groan, of course they didn’t tell him. jihoon gestures you to come in and you do as instructed. he closes the door behind you before walking you to shinyu and youngjae’s bedroom.
the door to their room is closed, and with no hesitation, you grab hold of the door knob.
jihoon quickly stops you, raising his hands in warning. “wait! before you go in, can you tell shinyu hyung to not be mad with us?” he says in a low voice.
you chuckled, “yes jihoon, i’ll tell him i was the one who insisted on coming here.”
he smiled widely, stepping back and signaling you to enter the room.
you turned the knob, slowly opening the door and setting foot into the space. pushing the door behind you but not fully closing it, you approach your boyfriend’s bed which was covered by a long curtain.
youngjae isn’t in sight, as he most likely wanted to avoid contracting any sort of sickness—with the clean freak he is—and is in another member’s room instead.
you hear a soft shuffling in the bed. “huh?” shinyu says in a weak voice.
you move the curtain aside slowly, now looking him straight in the eyes (which were half open).
“yn? what are you-“ he gets interrupted by a cough of his own.
you looked at him worriedly and began to take out the medicine you had brought from out of your bag.
“your members let me know you were sick.” you exhaled deeply. “and i know you didn’t want me to come but how could i not? look at you.”
a moment of silence passed as you looked at him up and down with your eyebrows furrowed.
you continued, “i don’t care about getting sick, i just want you to feel better.”
shinyu mumbles, “i’m sorry.”
you shook you head. “it isn’t your fault. is this your water?” you point to a glass on his cluttered bedside table.
he nods, unable to look at you straight in the eyes.
you take the cup and direct him to take the medicine you brought, helping him sit up in doing so. he does as you say and afterwards, takes your hand in his. his hand is warm.
“i finally have a day off and i just happen to get sick,” he pouts. “i was looking forward to being with you; to finally having a day all to ourselves.” his voice is low and somewhat unclear, but you’re still able to make out his words.
you stare at him, eyes full of adoration as you observe his messy head of hair and the way the corners of his soft pink lips turn downward. how could someone look so beautiful while being horribly sick?
“i know hwannie. i was excited too.” you reassure him, “and, there will still be more opportunities for us to spend time together in the future, okay?”
you reached out to make an effort to fix his bed head, pushing strands of his soft hair away from his face. he melted into your touch.
“plus.. we are technically together right now. this still counts, right?” you smile at him.
he looked up to meet your gentle gaze. his eyes are tired and full of exhaustion, yet when he makes eye contact with you, a part of them light up a little.
he rubbed your hand softly, caressing it with love. “yeah, that’s true.” he hesitates, before mumbling something under his breath.
“huh?” you hum in question.
he cleared his throat. “do you want to.. cuddle?”
you grinned immediately at his words. did it matter if you got sick? in any other case, yes. but right now, when your loving boyfriend with his adorable red nose, flushed pink cheeks, and gleaming shiny eyes was directly in front of you and wanted cuddles, did it really matter?
