Looking forward to South Dublin Libraries annual Readers Day this weekend!
It's my favourite time of the year again...South Dublin Libraries' Annual Readers Day at the Maldron Hotel Tallaght this Saturday November 12th 2011.
This year sees the 10th Readers Day with Dermot Bolger at the helm, and once again a terrific line-up is on offer. Sebastian Barry, Claire Keegan and Eoin MacNamee represent the cream of Irish writing while newcomer Anna May Mangan travels from London to share her amusing anecdotes from her heart warming memoir "Me and Mine". An interesting addition to the day is economist David McWilliams, who brings insight into our current economic climate as outlined in his new book.
Readers Day is always enjoyable, offering an opportunity for readers in South Dublin County, many of whom are members of book clubs at their local library, to meet their favourite authors, gain insight into their lives and writing, and ask any questions they might have.
What is also brilliant is that podcasts of all speakers will be available after the event, so if you've missed it you can listenback here
