Hey everyone! I'm in countdown mode for the publication of PERIHELID. October 17th is coming up fast...
I need reviewers. Preferably, people who have read the first two books in the series, EMBASSY and RESONANCE.
Unlike RESONANCE, PERIHELID isn't a book you can pick up and start reading and become acquainted with the story without having read the other books in the series. Everything that led up to this book is vital to understanding it.
I'm finishing up the second-to-final draft today (literally in a 4 hour car ride). The ARC copy of the book will be ready for reviewers in the third week of September -- I'm estimating September 20th.
If you would like to be an ARC reviewer, please let me know! Anyone living in the United States can receive a paperback edition. Anyone outside the United States will receive an ebook version. Requirements are that you have read both EMBASSY and RESONANCE, and that the review be published on Amazon and Goodreads, and if you have a personal review website, that'd be awesome, too :) All reviews should be published by October 17th, but please, no later than two weeks after. The sooner reviews are posted, the better!
I will provide you with a copy for free! However, if you want to review and haven't read the first two books, you'll need to get those for yourself.
--My books are futuristic science-fiction, taking place in a relatively peaceful era 2,000 years after humanity left Earth.
--These first three books are heavily character-driven and introspective. That is, much of the story focuses on Arman's personal character development, and is in inside his head a lot.
--These books are a celebration of humanity, and our endeavors. It's meant to be a story with a bright future. A story of exploration, of discovery, of our place in society and in the universe.
--There's a lot of science, and I try to keep an accurate portrayal of physics and astronomy. Whatever laws I couldn't keep, I developed entirely new physics for, which you can read on my website. The science isn't always front and center but it's ever-present.
--There are geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic undertones. Showing how various events shape political atmospheres is a major focal point as the story moves forward.
--There are cool futuristic sports that readers have fawned over.
--There are maps in the paperback version of RESONANCE, and they are available in color on my website.
--The website itself is a wealth of educational materials and extra-content for the books. Visit ExperienceDaliona.com.
So yeah! If you want to be an ARC reviewer, send me a message. Priority will be given to people with review blogs that have a decent following/engagement. I will also be contacting those of you who have reviewed for me in the past.
Thank you so much, and I hope to work with you soon!
