I've seen some ppl say they prefer the movie's version of Monty and I'm always like uhhhh... what.... granted I haven't watched the movie in years but I remember being rly underwhelmed with the movie version of Monty.

@lemonyandbeatrice yeah the casting I’ve seen the most complaints about have been Monty, Josephine, and Mr. Poe

the problem with the fact that I just rewatched asoue on netflix twice in a row is that I now have lyrics such as "look away, look away, there's nothing but horror and inconvenience on the way" and "there's no happy endings, not here and not now, this tale's all sorrows and woes" stuck in my head at all times
