My professor was talking about how she's been discussing the stories we were talking about in her reading. circle. !!!
the words press against my ears and I write them again on the pages
I know all the letters
their arrangements
the theory I take at heart
but accross the table
there are muscles and bones and cells and water
and lips that won't shut up
once they do, are they soft? are they sweet?
how hard it is to focus
when I spend my time wondering how you taste

Genre Specific Reading Circles?
Is there such a thing as a reading circle/group that only reads horror or dark fiction? A lady on the bus the other day was reading a book, telling a friend that she had to finish it as part of her reading circle's requirements, but that she found it hard going. Made me wonder if genre specific reading groups exist. Anyone know?
