You clutch your side, trying to stop the loss of too much blood, your tattered jacket tied tightly over your wound while you apply pressure.
“Your not going to survive this war.” You hear Cyclonus’ voice cut through the buzzing tone in the air. You turn in his direction from the hanging cage you were sitting in. It was hard to see him, or anyone else for that matter, through the one eye that wasn’t swollen closed. You noticed many of the other bots in the cells below were avoiding any eye contact with you. Cyclonus was the only one looking at you. You offer a small, pained smile and laugh quietly as to not draw any unsavory attention.
“If I was concerned about that, I’d have brought it up months ago.” You comment, you small laugh turning into more of a cough.
“Do you want to die?” Cyclonus asks. You lean back against one of the bars of this bird-like cage and close your eyes, trying to ignore the many pains in your body.
“Not at all, I want to live more than anything. I want to feel the sun against my skin again and try swimming in an ocean,” you pause and imagine an ocean beach, the warm wind, rough sand, and cold water, “But, more than anything I want to make a difference. I want to do something that matters. Even though I can’t do much, my ‘weird energy’ have kept these bots busy and away from you all. In my book, that's a win. Even if it costs me my life.” You start to cough violently, your chest aching, small spikes of pain from ever breath (probably a broken rib, yay).
“What a cute little heroes speech from the organic, how touching.” Tarn muses, mock clapping while walking into the room.
“Tarn! You sparkless pit-scum!” Rodimus growls, gripping the bars in front of him and staring him down as he walks towards your cage.
“Now, now Rodimus, why would you say that?” Tarn mocks, now standing next to your cage. You scoot to the center and glare, trying to get farther away from him.
“Torturing a lifeform weaker that you holds no honor.” Cyclonus snaps. Tarn tsks and raises a hand to lightly spin your cage. You lose balance and are practically laying against the cold metal. You try and prop yourself up on your one free hand and continue to eye Tarn.
“Cyclonus, you should know better. The secret to controlling the strong is through the sparks of the weak.” The cage suddenly stops its spinning, causing you to stumble. You see the spotlight as Tarn is now staring at you through the bars of the cage. Please say he’s just here to taught, you hadn’t nearly enough time to heal.
“Nickel had a breakthrough idea about that ‘weird energy’ and how to use it, but I can’t say for sure if it will survive.” Tarn says. Your frozen with fear as he clicks open the cage and reaches towards you. You hear the voices of your friends, but can’t seem to make out what they are saying, to paralyzed to function. Tarn yanks you out of the cage and holds you before the few members of the Lost Light Crew in the other cells.
“Say good-bye to your Autobot friends, you won't be seeing them again.” Tarn taunts before turning around and heading out of the room, your form limb in his deathly grip.
(Now, I know that in this timeline there isn’t a war techniquely going on, but I personally feel in the DJD’s eyes it is still going on and all that... I also really liked the idea of this universe for this scenario. If ya don’t like it tell me, I guess.)
