Oh. During the tuna melt scene in the book, as Shane is leaving and running away, Ilya takes the time to straighten Shane's clothes. Because he looks obviously disheveled, and Ilya knows he might get photographed like that. And even as Shane is pulling away and running scared and hurting Ilya and torpedoing their relationship once Ilya took the chance to try deepening it, Ilya still cares that Shane will be uncomfortable if he is caught looking disheveled in public.

This book hurts me.

SO, I watched the Lord of Mysteries show, and am now reading through the books.

I just finished The Clown Part 1 and am going onto Part 2 (I got the Physical books)

So spoilers here!

I really liked how the "First Battle" went!

I liked how this really was the first real combat encounter being with the Clown. Because like, it really does set up the idea that the pathway Klein is on is the one thats connecting him to the notebook. And the Clown knowing Klein is a Seer is also really interesting.

I just like how it sets stuff up for the end of the Book (I watched the show, I know somewhat what's coming)

But yeah! Very nice! :D

I'm so used to Cassie's sizes of the books with 600-700 pages, so i need to adjust to 300 pages story pacing now ...

the first person narration has its pros & cons

And, I'm a little sad that I have so many

things and plot twists spoiled to me
