If you ever come to Fort Worth, I will take you to the Spiral Diner. It’s not widespread fast food but literally everything is vegan, and their shakes are really good.

Are you going to fill in the letters or just leave it as an outline?
Outline! My original inspiration was this and I fiddled for ages with ideas for a similar wishy background before I saw a faux bois design on something and it occurred to me to do that instead. But I love the letters being negative space because I <3 negative space!

1. How many languages can you speak (for whatever value of ‘speak’ you prefer)?
I can fluently speak 3 languages: English, French, and Spanish. I can read and understand Portuguese, Italian, and Catalan, and can speak these to a more limited extent (ie I could have a conversation and make myself understood, but I couldn't give a speech).
2. Would you feel safe walking through your area at night?
Safe is a pretty relative term...I would be willing to walk through my area at night because I am sometimes a bit...non-cautious when it comes to that sort of thing (I want to be able to walk around at night, so I will, damn it), but I might look over my shoulder periodically. And carry a blowtorch. I mean what?
3. Do you follow any sports?
I follow football (soccer) fairly religiously. I am a fan of Arsenal FC, and regularly attend matches.
4. Painting or sculpture?
I prefer to paint, but I love looking at sculpture.
5. What’s a subject you’d really like to write fandom meta on?
Pretty much everything about HDM. I'd like to just do a long chapter-by-chapter meta analysis of the entire series. This may actually happen at some point.

I do not have a pet. There are several reasons for this, but one of them is that I have a suspicion that I am the Grim Reaper for pets. I had fish for four years, and not one single fish in the 20gallon tank I had ever lived longer than two weeks. I had the water tested by several different people, all of whom told me it was perfect. I tried several species of fish, various types of food, etc etc. Nothing changed. The various fish stores I visited were all a bit puzzled, finding nothing wrong with the tank, or the water, or the care I gave the fish.
I figured it would be best not to try my luck with other animals. I'd like a dolphin though.

Nope, though I might cave for tumblr saviour

I do actually have an LJ, and I even use it occasionally (mostly just cross-posting all my fic).

Not really. When it comes to fandom wank I tend to hang out on the fringes and bash my fists on the keyboard periodically, but I rarely say much, if anything.

gahhh I can't choose! It would depend on the situation and opponent.
11. Favourite underappreciated book/show/game/&c. which you wish would get more fandom love?
The Riddle-Master Trilogy, by Patricia McKillip. It is absolutely beautiful and incredible, and almost no one has read it. And this is unacceptable because I need fanart and fic and everything. It makes me sad.
(I'm only not saying HDM here because even the HDM fandom looks enormous compared to Riddle-Master)

absolutely! here it is from all angles. the sides of the wooden part are curved like the sides of a bowl, but it doesn't go down very far into the bowl when it's all put together, so I can't figure out how that'd be useful. I'm thinking perhaps part of it is missing?
