Here is my newest #bookhaul; thanks to Perera Hussein, @faberbooks and @meetpenguingirl . - - I am more than half way through The Song of the Sun God and it is FANTASTIC! If this book had the marketing done for other family sagas such as Homegoing, trust me, this book would have gone places. - - This is my first book set in Sri Lanka. It is so elaborately written and so honest to the core. Malayalees, Tamilians - added nudge for you to pick this amazing book set in our neighbouring country. It is well researched, bound in history and the emotional depth of the characters is spot on as well. #ReadtheWorld challenge works very well 😊  I've just finished reading a Moroccan book called The Final Bet written by Abdelilah Hamdouchi — the first Arabic detective novel to be translated into English. It's great to read books from different countries and learn about their culture and habits 🇲🇦  I only knew a few things about Morocco before, but now I know how their police system works 😃  I must thank @hoopoefiction for sending me over this book and I look forward to reading another #ReadtheWorld book soon.
