    He hadn't meant to be here. He hadn't meant to find this spring. He's one of the very few who hadn't been searching. He liked the surprise. Well... usually. But when he dipped into this water and his head was fiilled with --- what, seriously? 

                      "But I always have cereal for breakfast, it's my thing." 

    Beside himself, he laughs. Not a simple laugh, but one that startles even himself, smile wide and his eyes crinkling at the corners from the genuine humor in it. He wants nothing more than to hear that voice again, but it's apparently a one and done sort of deal. He tries to hold on to the memory, shut his eyes and envision who it was. A male, obviously. Not unheard of, but rare. Young. Sounds like the type that can keep up with his sarcasm, if nothing else. 

     He wonders, briefly, if he gets out and back in, if he'll get to hear him again. It's worth a shot, right? His grin is mischievous as he hauls himself out, dripping wet and bare as the day he was born. He'll wait a few minutes, and then ---- then, maybe he can hear him again.

i do like the idea of derek being in the band. derek smoking a cigarette and just being all rock n roll does things to me tbh.

yes good and maybe a few times stiles goes to complain to the landlord about them practicing and they start off rough but then derek comes down to apologize
